maddie508 I started out doing my makeup using watercolor and acrylic brushes, there are surprisingly similar shaped brushes to cosmetic brushes at a much more affordable but still high quality. 😃

I wouldnt go out and use cheap "from a watercolor kit" or a "childs" brush, however there are a lot of professional watercolor (natural bristle) and acrylic (synthetic or boars/goat hair) brushes that you can find at Hobby Lobby. That being said, I have contact dermatitis and I have not had any isses. Always clean your brushes first before you apply anything to your skin (art brushes or makeup), and I would recommend applying to the underside of your wrist first if you're worried or as your doctor. :)

Your undereye circles appear to be purple, so a yellow or orange corrector would work better than a peachy pink, which is better for correcting greenish/blueish undereye circles. :) color correcting works by using a color opposite the undesirable color you are trying to de-saturate. Purply colors like you've got would be neutralized by yellow :) (just saying, peach is not always an under eye brightener, it depends on the color of your shadows!!)

I always heard that peach is the color for dark circles but I actually think I might like the yellow better.

Rachel, you crack me up. I have seen a lot of moose when I lived in Alaska and Maine. Not a lot of them when I lived in Wyoming. A lot of elk in Wyoming. That coffee mug is a lot of what Canada is and isn't. I have driven in parts of it (in the northern parts of Canada near Whitehorse). I have also been thought from Michigan to Maine. Canada is a very beautiful country. I wouldn't mind visiting and seeing more of it.

That NARS bronzer in Seaside was too orange and light for me so I exchanged it for the Laguna version and I really like it. You need to find the right brush though because otherwise it's not going to be pigmented and I'm pale (always the lightest shade in everything...). I like that it doesn't have any shimmery in it like the original Laguna bronzer which I do love too but it has a time and a place for me lol, but it has a glow.

You mentioned that you liked using your finger to blend because you get better coverage. Try letting your concealer dry down then go in with a blending sponge for better coverage. (This tip came from Jackie Aina)

I think that primer smells lovely too! It's not a fake coconutty scent at all, just a fresh coconut flesh and water scent! I like it overall too, because I'm a big fan of moisturising primers.

Cristina FL ikr me tanned to my full extent (naturally because I can't be bothered with fake tan) is still seen as pale to most other people! My main problem is nude lipsticks because most beauty gurus I watch are quite tanned, so I see a gorgeous nude on them and buy it and then realise I am about 12 shades paler than them so their "nude" lipsticks are vampy on me 😂

Wowder is trademarked by Glossier. If you look up "wowder trademark" several websites show that glossier has claimed it as a trademark. Also if you type in "wowder trademark" glossier's website pops up. I LOVE Rachel, don't get me wrong. But asking beauty gurus to advertise a product without revealing the brand that makes that said product annoying. Makes me want to AVOID it rather than buy it. If I can't go out and buy it then why is it being advertised by someone I watch?

I like the Maybelline corrector, but the peach is too dark. try mixing it with a medium coverage concealer to lighten it up. then top it with your regular concealer and it's great :)

I think the reddish/orange color is meant to act the same way on deeper skin tones as a pinkish/peachy color on lighter skin tones. I'm not sure, but I remember seeing one of those "hacks" where people with deeper skin tones tried using red lipsticks (or something like that) to color correct under the eyes.
