Excellent Land, excellent.💪🏁🇺🇸 Also agreed this is finally the first time I like the Aeroscreen. I mean of course I will never like it but agree it’s value and respect the reasoning most definitely but at least now it is more aerodynamic with the rest of the car and more sleek and just looks so much better in comparison. Since I know this screen will never go anyway and or ever be smaller and had to accept it, I am not even big on a new chassi anymore. So long as it’s close to this chassi. Meaning “that look” That Indycar look we all love and think of when talking Indycar. Fighter jet nose two front wings, rear wing, (And now, at least top of helmet open cockpit with aeroscreen) no air box up top even though I loved the IR’s and that car most definitely must be shown in videos of the past etc considering we had 3 generations worth of that look. That’s that era with Wheldon, Dixie, Herta, TK, Dario, Danica, Marco, Sam Hornish Jr. Helio Brisco, Power etc. Some of those dudes are still out there racing as we know and I luv it.💪🏁 Anyway, yeaI loved that generation of Indycar. I am in my early 40’s so CART era of chassis will forever be my favorites, and though I hated how those first IRL cars looked and sounded. They finally got it right with that Chassi. Dallara IR8, before/after saved that car in the end. Even the Pano G-Force GF09 models, I liked that chassi in the end and missed it after Indycar went full IR. They were the F-16’s and F-18’s of auto racing, but those IR’s to me looked the best and if Indycar could only go with one, yea IR all day, most definitely. At least my opinion. Hell I miss the old Penske chassis with Marlboro livery. Anyway with my long rant, what I am getting to is, I am cool with the car staying the way it is. At least still for now because I fear with there being an aeroscreen that with a new chassi they may stray to far from that of what we consider the traditional looks of an Indycar. Granted I am always nervous anytime we get a new chassi but when that does happen this will be the most scared I will ever be haha. So yea very content with this car. Also yea bummer Miller isn’t at the track to see what’s going on but I appreciate you showing your respect and mentioning good ole’ Robin Miller RIP. 🙏🏁✝️ Props Land.🤙🏁

I was at IMS working on a Colts related photo shoot when the previous garages were being torn down. Seeing that process literally made me sick to my stomach, as I had very special memories from the old garages, including sitting in the Parnelli Jones winning roadster as is was housed in one of the old garages, the evening before the 1983 500. I also noticed an opening between the back walls of the two Andretti garages at the end of the first building you toured. I have never seen that before. Do you know if that is new for this year?

The pass-thru opening between C-16 & C-17 has been there for quite some time. But not since day 1. Andretti has been using that "zone" every year since 2003. That pass-thru, along with the pass-thru at C1 & C-32 (the back-to-back garages which are used for tech) are unique to the complex. No other garages have a pass-thru connection in the middle wall. They were cut I think sometime in the late 90s or early 2000s.
