I’m so excited for 2024! Me and my husband will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary with a renewal. We’ll be staying at plaza, our first time staying there. Our reception/after party will be at the Mob Museum in the court room. Just fitting because we got hitched at a court house. Great video!! ❤

I think we'd all like to hear your thoughts on your concerns heading into 2024. You've shared a lot of information with new hotels, shops, upgrades, new development, etc. on the strip but I get the sense that a lot of the change of ownership or improvements are to make this a more high-class dining and shopping experience and shoving the "Average Joe" out. I've read a lot of the comments here and most share that same concern. The alure of Las Vegas was that anyone could come here and have a good time as a low-cost vacation option, but those times seem to be changing.

Been enjoying your videos for years! I'm headed to Vegas in late March 2024. I travel solo and have been to Vegas probably 8 times in my life and love it every time. Already got my tickets for the "Postcards" show at the amazing MSG Sphere - can't wait to see it up close. Also want to check out the new Durango and Fountainebleau casinos. I'm staying at NY-NY, so I loved the video at the start where you filmed inside. I've stayed there before - love the lively vibe and with comps I get good room rates. Ruby, thank you for such an extensive and inclusive video! Great job!!! While it is nice to see all the new changes and things happening in LV, what is very clear is that increasingly the main demographic that is being targeted for LV is affluent visitors who have money to burn. For many years LV was accessible to the average Joe, and everything was priced very reasonably and was affordable for all the average Joes who visited. Today, however, a lot of average Joes cannot afford a LV vacation because everything has gone up so much. Food and show-ticket prices have especially skyrocketed, not to mention hotel rates, since LV is now more for the "high-end" visitor than for the average Joe, which I think is sad. ☹☹☹

Dancer810, We joined the Wynn rewards program and got rooms for $119 -$149 per night during the week. Southwest has deals on flights. You can eat at more reasonably priced restaurants like Lux Cafe, Peppermill, or Taco Del Gordo. Some select buffets are good or you could just do In-n-Out burger to “throw a board over the hole”. Don’t gamble too much and when you do get the free drinks. Many hotels have reward programs and coupons. Bring a portable coffee maker to your room and save lots of money if you drink coffee. You can still enjoy Vegas on a moderate budget if you do a little planning.

The "average" Joe does not/cannot spend enough to make it worth it for the operator. It seems the hotels have no problem filling the rooms. A 85 - 90 % occupancy rate is normal here( I live in Vegas). Outside of Nevada a normaL rate would be 65 % . Hotels aren't any cheaper in NYC, CHI or FL.

Hi Ruby!! We are coming 2-14 thru 2-18, and we have been watching your videos for a LONG time. We love all the information, and it supplies us with the information needed to see all the cool new things! This will be our 4th year in a row, but this time we are taking our 21 year old daughter, and her boyfriend for their first Vegas experience!! Valentines we are staying at the Flamingo, and the rest of the nights at Circa. We are going to U2 at the Sphere on 2-15, and Saturday 2-17 we are having our company party (we have done this the last 3 years) at the rooftop pool at Circa in the Cabana. Free drinks and food if you and your husband stop by!!!

We are coming January 21 for the Sphere Experience, and we will be staying at Flamingo. I am coming solo for Sick New World in April and I will be staying at Harrah’s. It’s nice to see all the new restaurants coming to flamingo. It certainly needs more than what it has. We hope to come in September for our anniversary for a stay at Wynn. I was blown away when I walked into it on my last trip. It certainly is the epitome of luxury.

Hey Ruby, I just want to update and have no intention to complaint about your post. I do like all the guidelines that you have provided us. I like to make comment regarding the buffet at caesars palace, the bacchanal. It was a huge disappointment when I visited the venue today. I paid $85 per person and it had nothing compared to the clip you made. They do not have snail. Do not have oysters. Do not have lobster claws. With 1/2 the price I can get more somewhere else. Crawfish is tasteless. The seafood is terrible.

I'm going before the Super Bowl (did not intend to, but oh, well) - Staying at Planet Hollywood (fountain view) and catching the U2 concert to experience The Sphere. (I'm searching for a safe shortcut walking route that is not through the Venetian to get to the concert and back.) I want to try eating at Black Tap, experience the Arte Museum and do whatever my friends want to do. Hoping to see the Lunar New Year flower presentation at the Bellagio Conservatory and I want to walk the Wynn after watching your videos. Vegas will be a first for two out of the four of us. Vegas has gotten very expensive,it seems since my last visit in 2011 to see Elton John. Your videos have been helpful!

@@gardensofthegods We really lucked out, in that it seemed cleaned up and primed for the Super Bowl, but not at all crowded on the weekdays before. We tried the $20 trick and it worked. We got two adjoining huge suits. We had great meals at Black Tap and Nacho Daddys and I got tickets on sale for the Arte Museum. We used the Deuce Bus one day to get around. The most expensive thing we did was the U2 concert, but it was worth every penny. We had a blast.

We visited in August for my husband’s birthday and are returning the last week of April/first week of May for my birthday. We’ve only visited in the summer and once for Thanksgiving previously, looking forward to experiencing spring in Vegas! Three comped nights at Paris and two at Bellagio. Super excited! Part of the reason we want to return is the rumor about demolishing Casino Royale. It’s pretty gross but one machine was amazingly good to us there 5 days in a row last year. Not foodies and we love the nachos and $3 beers there too.

Loved Durango grand opening, unlike any of the other casinos/hotels. Lots of natural light and not so dark like other casinos. Love the Restaurant choices that are not chains.
