I feel like monks are really in need of a complete visual update of all of their most used abilities. They look so awkward using MOP quality martial arts while other classes are using up-to-date visual abilities

Holy / Disc priest have so many old and ugly looking spells, too. They have a bunch of spells that are still untouched since vanilla. They need something new as well. Most of the "new" animations shown in the video are also recycled ones which is kinda sad.

I noticed on the PTR that the Frost Strike animation for worgen using 2H weapons has changed. It's no longer that ridiculous looking jump flip it shares with Death Strike.

Moonkin needs the visual upgrades for spells that Shamans got. We're still using the treants we had since TBC and Moon spells since Legion. Nothing visually upgraded.

Raise ghoul and apocalypse went from rising the dead to straight up jumping from the grave 😂, not really a fan of that. Similar to the new lightning bolt, I really like the casting animation, but they could've stayed with the instant hit instead of a travelling bolt.

I play Disc Priest only for RPG of playing a holy DPS caster. Loosing Purge the Wicked is kind of a bummer, because I loose the fantasy of playing a Holy DPS caster. I'm hoping for Blizzard to give Shadow Priest the same treatment as Green Fire Warlocks, where the shadows abilities can be visually changed to Holy/Fire based appearance. Really hope we can see a class-skin system soon to give players visual options to their class abilities. Priest would be a great class to test this on because of the different faiths in WoW between varying races of Azeroth. Imagine a Troll priest that has more Loa based visuals, Tauren being more Sunwalker focused, Night Elves Moon - Lunar colours and of course Shadow appearing more Golden to match races such as the Lightforged Draenei.

I really like the visuals but I think that maybe in order for the new player experience to be cooler, they should have levels just like they did in vanilla. Each level should have a new visual leading up to the latest one. Thus making you feel more and more powerful. It'd be great if you had someone from your class teaching you these, maybe someone from the class hall.

No, its no special sound on those yet. Its pretty low sound on the animals.The bear has the same leap sound as dire beasts, but there is nothing special roar or anything. Priests really need new visuals on a lot of spells but most important is smite and the single target healings. And what would be nice if I use a raid cd like my hymn I want to feel like I'm casting a very powerful spell. A lot of the spells are still a bit underwhelming in my opinion

I'm confused with the "ghost wolf now scales with player model" I can see it looks bigger on the video but, it already scales with player model on live. If I use any toy that makes me bigger or smaller the ghost wolf form gets bigger and smaller too.

Yeah, I tried to compare it and I intended to have it on the video, but I couldnt really verify if it is indeed changed. Because as you say its differences on live. There are minor differences between draenei, kul tiran and vulpera at least, but again, I couldn't verify the difference from live so after editing it I removed it. Some times the change get implemented later on in the PTR cycle so could be the case here.

I feel like they need to update the Glyphs too. I mean... we've been getting the same ones for a few years now and they haven't given us some new effects for our classes. I can imagine Shamans being able to turn to any spiritual animal that befits to their races culture, evolers getting to change the colors of their spells to reflect one of the existing dragon aspects, warlocks can make their rain of fire look like skulls exploding on impact, mages could make ice tornadoes, warriors become a storm of swords, monks having multiple spectral arms attacking like JoJo bizzare adventure, etc. Just saying...lost opportunity in making new effects

Erm… you do know that thunder lightning irl is static between the ground and ice crystals in the air, right? Ground has an electric charge as well, you know. The shaman draws the static charge from the ground and when releases it crashes down on the enemy, just like in new animation. From above like you want. So what’s “wtf” about it?

And it looks like a mess. THATS what the WTF is about. Don't try and nail me about realism while a space goat shoots lightning from their fingers.
