Technology has changed journalism in the last two decades as never before. Anyone with a smartphone is a reporter and there are no editors or gate keepers anymore. Mainstream media is struggling with social media and social media is struggling with regulators across the world. Print, TV, Radio, Podcast, Online and Social Media journalism are telescoping into each other.
At this time of history we need new education on journalism for the aspiring journalists as well as a refresher course for those already in the profession to bring clarity of purpose and progress.
This course brings together the basic touchstones of good journalism to put into practice in a technology driven environment.
