How about an option to have a separate test and final render settings (or two separate render buttons or tabs with their own settings), so people don't waste time changing rez/quality/bucket every time they need to fix something and run a quick check? Other minor things on the wishlist: zoom in/out for HDRIs, some good preset or autogenerated HDRIs, more realistic clouds, some quick presets for sunrise/sunset/rain/snow environments, soft shadows without physically increasing the Sun diameter in the render, a button/option to quick reset a material to default/original (wipe Asset Editor material changes)...

You see the number of updates they've given to Vray, but compare it to what they gave to Enscape last month. Too Bad!

Chaos has spread themselves so thin that this vray7 update is their weakest in recent memory. Gaussian splat and luminares? 😑 They’re so preoccupied chasing potential new users that development on core is very weak. Besides the fact that VRay is so expensive, the most expensive engine by far. Chaos has really gone down hill since VRay5; lack luster updates, price increases, too much vaporware.

Hellow everybody. I just bought a pc with the following specifications ( Intel i7-14700KF 3.4GHz, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD, RTX 4070 Ti 12GB GDDR6X ) but i still render very slow. Could somebody help me with some vray settings for a better and faster render ? Thank you in advance
