Good luck finding upgrades for it. I own the v1 and bought it for my son. The center driveshaft twisted after the 1st pack. Then the plastic out drives from the diffs sheared off. The shock shafts bent. The body heald up nice and it handles awesome! Tho for upgrades I had to hunt for stuff from other manufacturers and do some dremel work to make stuff fit.

Pretty decent 👌 way better than that little Dunne buggy they just released that didn't even have oil filled shocks. I could still buy a brushless tenth scale for 200 bucks though.

I am debating to get this or Arrma Granite V3 Mega Brushed 4x4. How are the 2 compared in terms of radio quality, esc, gears, servo, motor, etc?

For raw bashing, the Granite may be a little better equipped to handle the rough, and offer a lot of upgrade options down the road. For radio and the other electronic equipment, it's all going to be entry level, starter gear, but all upgradeable. -Brett

I have a question, why do hobbyists prefer "hex" screws instead of Phillips-Head screws? I feel that Phillips-Head is easy to work on, because you can just use a normal house screwdriver, and If you're new to the hobby (me), you'll need to buy hex-drivers because the L-keys most RC vehicles come with are too uncomfortable and hard to use in tight places.

They strip super easily and usually a person uses the wrong side Phillips screwdriver for the screw. With a hex you have one side that fits good and also more points of contact less chance to strip

Hi Thanks for your informative detailed review, just want to know if i could upgrade from "Fazer Mk2 Dodge HELLCAT"(purchased a few months ago) to a "Fazer Mk2 Rage 2.0" since it has the same chassis, by purchasing additional parts such as Shock Stay Set FZ02L-B, Swing Shaft FZ02L-B, FA531 Suspension Arm Set FZ02L-B and Wheels. Please advise since i am inquisitive and interested in trying this out. thanks again

Hmm, it should work. You will need longer suspension arms, driveshafts and links. We have not tried this, so we cannot say 100% it will work, but I think it will. -Brett

The Granite will be a bit more capable in the terrain thanks to it's larger size, larger tires and increased ground clearance. The Rage will excel more in smoother terrain compared to the Granite. Which vehicle is better for you will depend on your local terrain, where you drive and how you want to drive the vehicle. -Brett

The Rage 2.0 features a brushed motor and brushed ESC, so you'll need to stick with a brushed motor and options are pretty limited. The next best option would be a brushless motor and brushless ESC upgrade. That will be the best option for increased speed, power and efficiency. -Brett

Why would you buy this? Arrma has you covered for inexpensive RTR's . If you want longevity and upgradeability you need to look elsewhere. I have owned the V1 Rage and this one has all the same flaws. Thanks Kyosho for the hex head hardware! But honestly unless you keep this vehicle brushed only..... be ready for big disappointment!! In 2k19 there are so many better options. Rant over.

Its small looking for 10th scale whats up with Keysho using cheep ass plastic consistently and brushed motors always they will make up with volume no one is going to buy this garbage
