When this is available in mass quantities, there are many RVers who do not have the dinghy towing capacity of a full-size truck or Branco that will love to have the Hybrid Maverick or possible future Ranchero (if produced). There are several motorhome chassis setups that limit practical towing to around 3500-4200 pounds without giving up some OCCC (Occupant Cargo Capacity). This includes some large motorhomes as well as some small gas or diesel models. For example, a Freightliner with a 33,000 pound GCWR is allowing on 3,500# dinghy towing with an OCCC of 3450#. If I am willing to only load that motorhome to 3150#, that means I could dinghy tow in the 3,900# range of the Maverick FWD hybrid with a few options in the XLT range. That is an exciting prospect for those who want FWD and very good fuel economy when they are out exploring their RV destinations.

Hello. On October 21 2021 I ordered a hybrid Maverick xlt with a sliding rear window, full size spare and a trailer hitch. It was to built sept 17 then October 3 then October something. Now it’s November. What does Ford not have to build the truck. Does anyone know?

Ordered a Lariat with Lariat package. I highly doubt the dealership I ordered from will honor the MSRP. I will walk away and buy from another car from a dealer out-of-state that's not in their network. I rather walkaway than pay $4k-20k over msrp like a lot of used Mavericks in my state..

Yeah it's ridiculous when all new Toyotas come with radar adaptive cruise control but Ford hides it in the highest package. It's a safety feature and should be treated as such.

i believe it is now when you look at the 2023 addon guide it has ford 360 for 650$ and ford 360 assist for 750 added on to all trims

This is true except you have to add luxury package to get the 360 and you have to get 360 to get 360 assist(adaptive cruise) so you have to add several things to get the 360, so its not technically a standalone but an addon package.

I think the dealer mark ups on these have been criminal. Defeats the purpose of looking into getting a Maverick. I think it is almost false advertising with the pricing. Dealers need to be cut out of the process so that we can order direct and know what we will be paying.

So does 2023 get rid of the ridiculous cubby hole next to the Nav screen? Did Ford increase the size of the Nav screen to fill the space of the cubby?

that is correct, the only need to order remote start from factory is so you can have one key with remote start instead of a key and a separate remote start fob. but you can still start your car using your phone and the app.

So what i can't figure out is the tire wheel combo. With the FX4 package u get the fx4 wheels but if you want the the A/t 235 tires you can't get the fx4 wheels. At lest this how is on 2022 build out on web page as well as 2023 build sheet looks like. Why is this, doesn't make since to me, wheels seem to be same size so why would they not take same wheels? Also why have a fx4 wheel if can't put larger A/t on it? Is this really the case?

Yesterday, I ordered a Black 2023 Ford Maverick XL Hybrid with only the Hitch option from Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park, CA. They asked for $500 deposit and said it was fully refundable. Internet sales guy said it would be for MSRP with no dealer markup but they didn't know the actual MSRP yet. I didn't sign anything besides initial deposit information, and they said they'd reach out to me when they get those prices in. Hopefully this works out for me. I had a great experience with them in the past but in today's world I am unsure of how things will go.

Save the long list of things she didn’t know, all she told me was my 22 order had not been updated yet… that was the sum of my visit. The dealer I have had has been so unenthusiastic about my order I don’t understand. I was also told they can’t switch delivery locations. Is that correct?

I have just ordered a 2023 Maverick and I want the "factory" Snugtop bed cap. It's shown on Ford's build and price for '22. You can add it to your build and the website displays your build with the cap on the truck and the price reflects it. The website doesn't say it's a dealer installed option. My dealer has no idea how to add this. Any suggestions?

Astonishingly, I got a build week (10/17) and a VIN number for my October 2021 order of a 2022 hybrid XLT with luxury package and Co-Pilot 360 just in the last few days. This notice came after being "in preview" (Priority 2) for nearly two months. I guess I will be among the very last customers to get a 2022.

I ordered an XLT hybrid on the 15th. I recieved a confirmation from the factory on the 16th. I had removed the restraint items with the exception of the 360. But the spray-in/tonneau/ and another item will be dealer installed.

Destination charge is a third party charge from a company the brings the car from the factory, thru rail then put on a truck and delivered to the dealership. Nothing they can do about that.
