That last Benu, Midas was the best I just can't bring myself to like the random facets. I'm surprised they didn't jump on the name for Asteroid BENNU. It was right there! Those Sailor inks are finally saturated! Those ones look like they could compete with the Iroshizuku colors even. My favorite Delta was that dark blue you showed last.

Hi Drew! A plethora of goodies this week! LOVE the new Delta pens!!! And FINALLY a line of Benu pens I can really dig! LOVE this Astrogem Collection! That Blue one and the Green and Gray!! Dude! The sparklies don't look out of place on these pens, because actual asteroids sometimes have sparkly rocks! I know you do but I like Yu, too! Have a good weekend!

I saw Midas on the website and thought it was interesting, maybe the most interesting of this new bunch. The amber sections remind me of the Earl Grey. Maybe I need another amber pen? 😛 Klio is nice, too, though.

The Sailor King of Pen is stunning. So is the price! If there was any criticism it would have to be that Sailor is missong the boat on the converter. It should be able to hold twice as much ink. I have one of the original models and have eyedropper filled this oen. I know that there will be many who think it is sacrilegious in doing so but mine jas two O rings and with silicone grease on the threads, it worked wonderfully. I would not have done so if the converter was larger.

My wallet might very well be $150 lighter after seeing that exclusive Delta... I'm naturally biased toward Italian pens (shoes, purses, food, etc) anyway but I've never seen anything like that. Drew, YU are wonderful!

Sailor has plenty of highly saturated inks, Drew! It's just that people are so enamoured with the chromoshaders that not everyone pays as much attention to the other ones. Akebi, Yamadori and 935 are some examples from the Manyo, Shikiori and Ink Studio lines respectively that I would go so far as to call smudge monsters. I can't even tell Yamadori is teal when I put it in a wet triple broad nib, because the saturation sucks all of the colour out of it and makes it look black.

Those delta's seem half designed. Why have a notch for the "blind cap" portion be designed to read as a piston knob but it isnt actually, and then when posted not have that notch fit entirely within the cap either?
