Thank you so much for adding Gesu no Kiwami Otome!! I've been a fan of theirs for a long time and requested them in Rocksmith 2014, so I'm happy to see some of their songs become playable here! I'm hoping we can get some more of their songs in the future, plus some from Indigo la End, Dadaray, and then some from Asian Kung Fu Generation, Sakanaction, Frederic, Kana Boon and Flow.

I've been making music for four years without ever knowing how to properly play the keyboard. After a month of Rocksmith+ it all just clicked. I'm not perfect at it yet, but I've become more proficient at playing than ever before.

Right now Rocksmith+ has a Tone Manager with 125+ preset tones (might actually be 150+ currently) that you can equip to use with a guitar or bass directly connected with a Real Tone Cable or an audio interface. Tones ranging from "Jazz Wah" to "UK Lux, Overdrive" to "Parlor Acoustic" to "Original Blues Tremolo" and much more. You can currently see the different gear that virtually makes up each tone but you can't yet customize and design your own tones. You'll definitely have access to the Tones with a subscription and actually access is even included in the Free Preview version of Rocksmith+ that's available without a subscription on all platforms. So you'd be able to download it and give it a try now if you wanted to.

It is great I just wish on the piano it will show the piano chord names on the screen just like it does the guitar so it will be better for people to learn the piano keys better

People forget where RS was when it first launched years ago. Whenever you overhaul a platform, there’s gonna be people whining that the old variant is better. Granted RS+ was serious underbaked and lacking content at the start. They probably should have kept it as a beta for a full year before launching officially. People got overhyped assuming it would be just like RS14 because Ubisoft pumped it so much that people had the wrong impression of what it would be out of the gate. Had they left it in beta for much longer, lots of issues would have been squashed, more feedback would have been collected, and less people would have been disappointed overall because they wouldn’t have felt like they were paying a lot of money for expensive beta software. I was not complaining out of the gate like most people. I’ve beta tested software/hardware as a hobby for 26.5 years and know all fresh launches will have growing pains even when beta comes to a close. My only complaint is that they bumped the price up for everyone. Early adopters who paid within the first 1-3 months for a full year upfront should be allowed to keep the same $99 price for life - that would be fair for those of us who endured the growing pains and had faith that Ubisoft would get this together little by little.

I see I see. Btw do any of you guys know why i can't purchase a subscription through the store on PS5 🤔. Keeps saying error try again in a few minutes. I was thinking maybe just purchase the subscription through the mobile app, but idk if it carries over or not. Any help would be appreciated!

The latency you're experiencing doesn't come from the audio input or the processing in Rocksmith+ which is negligible. The level of audio latency is highly dependent on the audio output path and any additional audio processing that various pieces of hardware will add which varies depending on each person's setup. But here are some suggestions on reducing latency that might help out. Starting from the console side of things you'll want to disable any additional audio processing on whatever output you are using. This means going to the sound settings and making sure that the chosen output is set to Linear PCM. This step really makes a noticeable difference and should be done for any audio setup. After the console settings comes the actual audio system that the console is plugged into. This should be as direct a path for the audio as it can be (e.g. go through fewer devices). If you want to hear audio out of a soundbar or an Audio/Video receiver, plugging the PlayStation directly into the soundbar or AVR and then using the HDMI output of the soundbar/AVR to send video to the television will provide a lower latency experience than plugging the PlayStation into the television and then using the HDMI ARC output of the television to connect to a soundbar/AVR. Regardless of what is being used to output audio, you should disable any additional processing on the hardware. This means setting TVs to their game mode and disabling anything like Dolby Atmos, DTS TruSurround, etc on TVs, soundbars, and AVRs. We want the sound to be produced exactly as it was recorded and encoded with no additional effects or processing (which all add more audio latency) by using whatever direct mode the hardware offers. Those are our most basic recommendations that apply for all use cases but especially so if you need to or can only connect your PlayStation to your TV via HDMI. In that case you can also check what kind of HDMI cable you're using. Is it a newer, high bandwidth cable or is it an older HDMI spec? The newer cables could perform better. However, if you want or need to take things a step further and explore alternative audio options there are more things you can try: When connecting directly to a TV via HDMI, you can see if the TV has an analog audio output that you can then use to connect speakers to use instead of what's built-in to reduce latency. We've had good luck doing this at the office, but it will be dependent on your specific hardware. A 3rd party USB audio dongle might be another option. Those plug into a USB port of the PlayStation and can then be used to plug in headphones or speakers. We've heard from other players that this can work well. Don't forget to set the dongle audio to Linear PCM in the PlayStation sound menu in this case. Another option is an HDMI audio extractor. The console could be plugged into the audio extractor, then the HDMI out from the audio extractor can be plugged into the TV to send video with the audio sent separately from the analog output of the audio extractor via 3.5mm or optical out to be connected to speakers, soundbar, AVR, etc. Some players have reported good results using 2.4ghz wireless headsets. We are wary of any wireless solutions for audio, but it's something that could be tested if you have it. We'd discourage anyone from using Bluetooth. Bluetooth audio is simply not fast enough for most people to have a good experience with Rocksmith+ on any platform. For all of these audio alternatives, your experience may vary given the multitude of options that exist on the market. We can't really recommend or provide official support for any particular 3rd party hardware or accessories.

Incidentally, those are also two places where you can check out other reviews for more thoughts on the product. If you sign up on mobile (and do the free trial) it will still allow you to use the same account to play on PC for the duration of the trial as we support cross-platform subscriptions.

read the reviews. many of the negative reviews don't even talk about the game. it's mostly review bombing by people that got angry because RS+ is not the sequel they wanted. you can decide if you want to sub or not but I'd advise to not decide based on steam reviews only.

@@rocksmithplus I did try it, also I did buy 1 month. Prices a little steep, just fyi. But I'm enjoying myself. No clue what these people are talking about it. Everything went fine and people are saying they got double charged? Didnt happen to me. All is well and game works. I get they are mad about the subscription based game. I agree with that. Maybe you can grt the prices down to help? Anyway good game I'm just starting to learn guitar and piano so it's working as intended. Thank you.

The game is being heavily review bombed by people who want to pay as little as possible and pirate everything else. I recommend that you try it yourself. There's a 7 day free trial, you can sub for a month, or you can do the free to play version that only has a handful of songs. Most of the people who would review it positively have been playing on Ubisoft Connect for a year-and-a-half and can't review it on Steam since they don't own it there.

If you guys decide to put some more interesting songs wich brought people to even try the guitar, this game would be more successful. Look at the Guitar Hero Game Playlists and get inspiration. I think people working at this game already know that so there must be a licensing problem or cost of the licence problem.
