Sarah, I've never taken a class on zoom, only listened to demos and lectures, which often had problems when changing camera angles. But I can say that I might need weeks of lead time to get materials, having to order them from the UK. And another discussion (paid class) ond basic materials would not go amiss. Thanks for all you do.

I’d love more on shaping felt by hand and on household objects. Your KZbins on this got my started on hat making, and I’d love more. Honestly, I don’t like working with sinamay or sinamay hats, so that wouldn’t interest me. But working with other straws including paper straw would be great. I loved your no nonsense videos during the pandemic, you’ve great natural teaching style. Please make the video’s accessible for a good period after the live time - I’m in the US so unlikely to be able to join live, but I’m happy to pay and get the recording. Thanks for doing this!

The first Zoom class is the hardest, but it's easier after. I started teaching via Zoom (voice and piano) with the lockdowns, and I still have a few students that have continued via Zoom. One thing to keep in mind is there's about a 5 second delay from what you say or do until it's received, so there's always going to be lag time.

I've been in millinery almost 4 years, and I too need to get good lighting, camera etc. but it does get costly. I would love to do your classes!! I've learned a lot with your videos. I've been holding off on a Felt blocking online course, which include detail felting, adding shellac, blocking, sizing etc. It's the $$$ for me. Also, learn how to create freeform sinamay brim extension hats

Thank you Diana, that gives me ideas and helps a lot in what everyone would like to see. If you are able to join the live tomorrow we can discuss more

I would love a class showing a good hat for summer that I can wear at the Allotment. Fancy hats are fine, but I am interested in a practical hat to keep the sun off me while working outside that will stay on and look stylish too. I would appreciate guidance on what materials would be best for this and whether this type of hat is likely only sewn cotton one, but if so, guidance on brim would be useful. Many thanks, Lisa

Hi, I will take note of your comments, although this type of hat is more flat pattern sewing tutorial.

My biggest challenge is accessing supplies. We have nothing local so I need to order online. I would need a supply list well in advance and recommendations on where to purchase.

I make the odd hat for fun and would really like to know more about sewing and the type of stitches used. How to sew in the pertersham on the inside. My sewing is really bad. Also felt would be nice

I am a newbie to millinery , so am like a sponge. However, I am sure there is a wide variety of experienced milliners. Perhaps you might want to pick a niche…experienced or beginners. As a beginner, I would subscribe to more advanced techniques even tho’ my skill level might not be there….whereas experienced milliners might not 4:03 be interested in beginner techniques.
