Great video, as always. Not been to Cherry Grove since the mid 70's. I remember that there was a round house on stilts up there. Was wondering if it was still there

Thank you so much. Not sure. I know of the one that is in Murrells Inlet that looks like the Jupiter 2 from the old Lost in Space show. But don't know of any round one on the north end.

see if i can remember what i said, lol. its so great to see you both up in NMB, and sharing the CG pier updates. Its nice to see this from so far away here in the north and can't wait to get back. thanks for showing everything about this pier, and all the info, even the info about the parking garage for the pier, most folks don't know that. i think i posted a link to the piers info like water temps, and wind speeds, its cool, but maybe youtube doesn't allow that. anyways keep up the great videos and thanks for sharing

You are very welcome. Yes, some people asks about the water temp and all, and we typically forget about that. Not sure why it got deleted or pulled off, but seems like information that others would like to know. Thanks for reposting. Maybe it was just a fluke / glitch.

I'm not familiar with any of the piers there, the only one I've been on is Spring maid, but that one looks nice also

This one is on the north end of the strand. Springmaid is now concrete and fortified as well. Supposedly. Cherry Grove was rebuilt with wood. It's private and they don't get any funding, so the money made is what goes back into it. Thats why it took so long to get it where it's at now, and they're still working on it. Hopefully, they'll have it totally completed by the end of the summer.

Not sure the actual temp, but it is getting warm enough for some people to play in it. Saw them last week, when the temp reached 73°.

Not sure the exact date but it was closed due to hurricane damage and they repaired it and they just opened 2/3 of it back up.

@@BeachinwiththeBoones reason I asked is I believe there’s a cherry grove pier affiliated with the FFA that members/students would visit during summer camp.
