I forgot to say in the video, the tyres, fitted at Pirelli’s Performance Centre, cost just over £1,000 for the set. But I would recommend always shop around when buying tyres and check out a few different garages to get fitment quotes

Seen Through Glass that sucks, you have only 1 real choice of tyre. I think a lot of people overlook the tyres on expensive cars, some are very rare sizes or expensive to replace and usually have to be done in pairs also.

These are usually 18" smaller wheels made for the Challenge car rather than the Challenge Stradale. Personally, I don't like that as much and they are still £2-3,000

Stick with the car being stock, embrace what it is and don't try to make it something that it isn't. It is a 360 which is awesome, it is more than cool enough without trying to be something else.

The original Starfish wheels are just fine. They are light weight plus easy to clean. Go 19" and the wheel's mass and resistance inertia goes up. Also, if one drives secondary roads in need of repair a taller wheel plus corresponding lower profile tire sidewall will be more vulnerable to road hazard damage. Old tires dry out and lose their suppleness in griping the road. Especially in the wet. Definitely much needed in the rainy UK climate. Sam, please keep doing videos on your 360. While not the most powerful/quickest car around, I'd say the combined package of what this car provides makes for a very high fun factor experience.

Mate by no means is that a classic car. Where I live we have special license plate for historic cars and a car has to be at least 25 years old to qualify and has to meet some other standards as well. But even if you don't use the legal definition of one country, consensus among old car persons is that classics don't start before 20 years of age and some argue not even before 30.

Good content Sam. I just changed out my tires that were 11 years old on my Aston Martin. I ditched the Bridgestone’s and went with Michelin. Old rubber noisy, new rubber quiet. Let us know in fact if the tires are quieter. Thanks for a great channel! 👍👍

When I purchased my Cobra Replica, I drove it home 800 or so miles and found out it had 22 year old tires. They had less then 4,000 miles on them and had zero cracks or dry rot. Even still had I known they were that old I wouldn't have driven further than the nearest tire shop.

Beautiful car! The original rims remind me of the 458 rims in a way. Always best to keep things stock! I want a 360 with daytona seats and the fender shields. Prices are really great right now on 360's! You have a gem there with the manual gearbox!

I fitted a new set of these tyres to my XKR Jag from the same era, believe it was the original fit like your 360, first 200 miles lovely, after that it’s been like driving on wood, hope they work better on your car !!

Lol, the classic KZbin stereotype. Engine light doesn't bother me at all, has never amounted to a serious issue. I would love to keep this car until I'm an old man - it's my first Ferrari - something you dont forget

Seen Through Glass it will bother you when you get stuck in limp mode in another country of just blows the engine one day. You bought it knowing about this issue shown on the MOT history which everybody can check so if you can leave in peace with that good for you man, although I seriously doubt it's not at the back of your mind every single time you drive it. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy you're living your dream but from a viewer perspective it feels like the excitement vapours away.

VoloKin - Absolutely no reason the engine is going to blow down to a lambda sensor or failing coil pack! Sam always checks codes anyway but the more you drive a car, the more you get to know it and get a feel for what's going on. Sam clearly loves this 360 and as genuine manual cars become ever rarer, it's getting more sought after. Especially as it has been so well cared for. Sam could have a sample of engine oil analysed to confirm the internal condition of the V8 but it sounds great.

The Stradale exhaust back box is the same as the F430, find yourself a 2nd hand one and fit that 👍(not easy to fit though)

Please get C/S wheels Sam it needs it. The car is so racey looking with the mesh grill on the back and the harness with sport seats and now with plans of a loud exshaust the standard wheels are gonna look really out of place in my opinion but you car dude! Keep up the awesome content.

@stg sam we love the 360 the way you have kept it, nothing can ever be as graceful as the original. Restoring the wheel to its original leather finish is the best way to go about it, however, upgrading the exhaust to the stradale version is the best option. Other than the exhaust dont change anything, instead use the money you had set aside for the upgrades/modifications to be done to the car to get a new set of hair for your head 😆😂 (most of your subs would agree when i say up top, you are as smooth as a baby's bottom) #the360-needstenderlovingcare-but-samshouldgetanewheadofhair 😈😂😆😎

Sam, you don't have alcantara steering wheels to match alcantara elsewhere in the cabin! It's for grip and because it allows the best steering feel. I know this won't change your mind but maybe try an alcantara wheel and make a more informed decision? Shame about the CS wheels. Unfortunately I think the OE rims are just too small and the 360 just isn't fullfilling it's potential. Just my opinions though and no offence meant.

Understand your point but I'm not obsessed with the feel of alcantara. It wasn't offered from factory and I would prefer leather. And no offence taken re the wheels, everyone is allowed their own opinion. At first I didnt like the stock wheels, but Ive grown to love the part the play in the overall package of the car

Hmmm keeping it pure and fixing it up instead of turning it into your dream car.... Maybe a real CS in the works so no need to make one? I can totally see it. However, from a viewer perspective, I'd be concerned that with a real CS, you would drive it considerably less. Not to mention not as hard simply due to value and rarity. Though, a CS for occasional fun and a bit of an upgrade for your daily from the Cayman sounds nice.

I respect your decision. But i really don't like the stock 360 wheels. The wonderfully designed silhouette of the car deserves a better fitment. That's all a 360 needs to be completly perfect. Why not put BBS CK wheels on. Almost the same as the CS wheels. And think about the stock f430 exhaust. That's the sound you want, believe me ;)

Tyre technology has come such a long way in the last decade would you not consider different more performance tyres from a different manufacturer than those older style? Is it due to the tyre sizes as you said or just wanting to keep it stock?
