I was about to write that surely the foreign prisoners are kept seperate from the rest & so that should be a good thing for McGovern......then they said the place is run, apparently, by russian gangsters and so....maybe solitary might be preferable. You need to get your facts right. I've been in jail in Dubai and he won't be anywhere near Al Awir. He'll probably be in Bur Dubai police station, the biggest jail attached to police stations, as they all are. The drug prisoners will be in a different wing than general population. The jail was run by the Iranians. He will only go to Central Jail once he's been to court and sentenced. Jails attached to the police stations are remand with no human rights. You've just spouted a load of bollocks.
