So I take it from your brain-dead prescription for "freedom and real democracy' that you forget the Arab Spring was a Western operation that successfully destroyed a number of Arab nations for the benefit of Israeli/US domination in the region. Also, pretty tone deaf that you focus on "holding accountable...Assad's brutes" while completely leaving out the fact that the child beheading takfiris I'm sure you praise for "liberating" Syria are currently running the country. No mention of accountability for them. Do we have to wait for another Western proxy to overthrow them through brutality in order to hold them accountable? The West's patronizing cover for imperialism has destroyed any basis for "human rights" as anyone on the victimization side of the "rules based order" can transparently see that it is just the same victor's justice that has defined the West since Nuremburg. Your blatant exemption of HTS while decrying "Assad's brutes" is just another piece of Western propaganda no one wants to hear.

I spent years following what was happening in Syria during and after the Arab Spring. Watching on KZbin in its early days the terrible attacks on the people of Syria and the incredible groups like the White Helmets was similar to watching what Netanyahu has done to Palestine. It has gone on for so long because of Putin. He is so evil. Thank God Syria is out of their clutches. I pray they can united across conflicting groups and embrace diversity in their ranks - rather than just same old boys bands that destroy these nations.

Tell me more about the totally candid survey of Syrian people these days that you've had. It's always refreshing to have an absolutely not curated roll of propagandic images on repeat which conveys the totality of the situation, like AJE provides. I'm sure you must have other anecdotes to provide color to this reaction among a country of totally not diverse and distinct groups across various geographical regions and communities. It also is very encouraging from your embedded report that we can conclude the happiness of all Syrians is as a result of the "freedom" they now have. There certainly is no chance of fear or duress which has compelled people to smile when the bearded foreigner takfiris with guns arrive to their town square. At least we can be certain of all of this now. Thank you, sir.
