What's Next For The Tiny House?

When I was 5 yrs old (1953) my daddy was sent to W. Va. for work. We lived in a 8x27 foot mobile home for a long time. My uncle was soon sent to the same job so he lived with us. Tiny, cramped but filled with love and laughter. I would love to be able to go back in time for a few days, miss them all so much.

My aunt and uncle lived with 4 kids in a 10x40, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, until they built their home. Our families traveled with the dads job, my dad and uncles worked building pipelines all over this country in the 50s and 60s, and we all went with them, changed schools often. We all had mobile homes that we pulled from one state to the next…

Me too, Tammy, big time!! My dad was a field service engineer & was stationed every year or two, we traveled holidays, summers, moving when I was 5 to 17 yrs old,,,,loved it, saw soo much, met so many types of people from all different cultures. My Mom was from Ky, my dad from Ark.,& Indiana. learned Southern, & all kinds of cooking! Would go back in a heart beat!! 🤗❤

I loved watching Nugget eat his goodies! He looked like he was in heaven eating his grapes and tomatoes. When the fruit orchard gets established, Nugget will have all kinds of goodies. Most of the animals will love the extra fruit and veggies from the farm. 🥰🥰🥰

Your reasons for letting the tiny house go make total sense. Still... the thought of it serving as a cute little roadside flower stand was mighty sweet. I really am impressed with Mary Carl's aviary! Her birds are thriving there and for good reason as it provides them with so much space and all the comforts.

Time for her momma to get some of her money back off the tiny house and enjoy her brand new house. It had to be moved anyway to put the driveway in.

Well, it's official. All of the temporary housing is gone. The permanent housing is all that is on the property (for the humans anyway). So very happy for you, Brooke's mom, and the new owner. Happiness all around. Soon the new drive will be in, hopefully cupboard doors will be installed, your kitchen will be finished, and something will happen with the handrails for the stairs. Then it's on to the animals and gardens. All in just over a year! Awesome

I agree. 32' long - that is a Not So Tiny House. I know a couple that purchased a true Tiny House for their son. He wanted to live in the woods on the back of their property. His place is cute but 2 of his would fit in your Mother's former place, with a bit of extra space. I know having that area cleared and hopefully soon a new driveway is exciting. Now those cabinet doors are another story.

So the tiny house was 384 Sq feet. I hope the new owner enjoys making it his own. That's a pretty perfect size for one person living. Really happy we got to see all 3 of your outside pups today. Maybe one day Brooke can show us her mom's inside cat or cats. I remember you getting a realky pretty little liggter colored cat to be a barn cat and Brooke's mom fell in love with it almost straight away so off it went to become her pampered pet, lol.
