Almost every time Gimmick Puppet Nightmare gets used, it's as part of a winmore situation. The only real exception to that AT ALL is going Sanctifire Pass vs. Maxx "C". Any other setup where you could bring out the puppet you could (AND usually SHOULD) do something better. Fun fact: If you fuse off a Druiswurm you own summoned to the opponent's side of the field with Sanctifire, it floats to send one of THEIR other (special summoned) monsters to the GY. This can be super nasty if they're still setting up, especially if you have the ability to make Lubellion into Mirrorjade with an Albaz special summoned by a Quem or Sanctifire(the latter mainly coming up in mirrors).

Swordsoul will never be bad it is a helmet deck. Big plays big easy synchro lines with great value. Protos just allows it to be broken especially in a best of 3 when you tailor make a floodgate for your opp's deck because swordsoul accesses just about every attribute

Funny part of the albion combo is how nobody actually understands what's going on Had a duel with black wing and they negated everything else and another time they attacked my despia monsters thinking that was my main gimmick. Gimmick puppet and ra's disciple are easy to get in graveyard and to block your opponent. I got like a dozen vids showing me do it.

Swordsoul by comparison just feels boring to me. But that’s just my opinion. I know a lot of people love Swordsoul because it’s consistent, a solid deck for new players and has been reliable for a long time. Good reasons just irrelevant to me lol

expulsion is gone and fusion is limited so their is no consistent way to set it up. Swordsoul is rogue now and you only lose to protos on turn 3 unless you're a dark andy

People who play complete locks (like puppet) should be banned instantly, especially Branded players who clearly love to abuse this as much as possible and in any possible way. Also the matches show, as if it was necessary, that Branded should have been hit in the banlist without doubt and it's absurd they didn't. For people complaining about Protos: maybe you should play less meta, less Dark centered archetypes, alright? and you will see how clearly Protos is not THAT problematic and stop crying so much just because a Rogue deck has ONE (1) powerful tool against your...sorry, against some specific decks. Also because let's be honest, Swordsoul statistically is often Chixiao+lv10 pass. With one handtrap/staple if heavens allow. Branded is often MUCH worse than that.

I mean, that swordsoul seemly did things worse but win anyway , for the silly summon moye while in the hand has eclesia, what you could do was summon ecclesia special summon moye from deck and reveal that moye from the hand,but anyway, Here's something to point out at the grand final, first game With that hand, he summoned baronne with longyuan,sending earth tenyi Then ecclesia, you know that baronne used negate to the ash, should've special summon Taia from the deck,not moye. Taia synchro summon grand master ,and search for black out And here's the interesting part, should then tribute that grand master to search protos,( in the grave we have fire,wind,earth,light already ) End board protos, black out, and during the stand by phase special summon back grandmaster with baronne that already used it's negate, not just protos and baronne with nothing activatable Blackout could target protos plus 2 of the opponent's cards, without destroying protos(cannot be destroyed by card effect) while the destroy effect still resolve to theirs.

Anyway, not just swordsoul, there are always quite a lot of players who I don't know what to say, shouldn't say noobs, but always do silly,or just worse move , some worse make me thinks like they all not practice and don't know how to play the deck Shouldn't give fame for that and praise too much for the winners, might often just win games against those noobs But a win is a win anyway, just hope that the skills of players rise up, make it worth the name of competitive, man Well, a sad case to say , this meta weekly and also the website we think it's just for fun ,not taking it serious because reasons, I like what you guys doing, and love it, but currently not that 'professional' reference for people , and because of these we all look at Japan's for real and reliable stats and data instead of dkayed weekly, that's sad
