I remember that special “Punky Brewster” episode where her friend Cherie got trapped in an abandoned refrigerator while playing Hide and Seek and almost died. Scared the mess out of us 80’s kids! 😱

2:43 He could've possibly reloaded as he pursued him. I did the math, 4 shots in the cab, reload during pursuit, 4 finishers on the platform.

I love coming back to this episode! But this time, something occurred to me. The two movies that were showing before Bruce's parents were killed actually make since the more you think about it. In most other Batman stories, it's either hinted at or blatantly shown that Bruce was a huge fan of Zorro. 'Zorro The Gay Blade' would've been out at the time, so that makes sense. As for 'Blow Out', that's a Brian De Palma thriller in which John Travolta plays a Film Sound Technician who ends up doing "Detective" work with uses his tools or "gadgets" to solve a mystery. Now THAT'S clever storytelling!

What's sad was the movie was very scary and depressing this was before COVID-19 happened. So who knows maybe we let our wickedly minds slip that now became a little bit a chemical that made God turn on us.

10:23:as for Glitter,i think it's become acceptable to listen to Gary Glitter(Rock 'n' Roll)part 2, basically the instrumental version of(Rock 'n' Roll) part 1,as played in this film, probably because part 2 is mostly void of Glitter s lyrics/voice, maybe strangely people find it more acceptable, kind of like without his lyrics it's less endorsement of him, frankly, the instrumental version is pretty good but it's like are you still endorsing Glitter by even playing that, though the instrumental version is popular with a lot of people, even today

That bit about how it wasn't impossible for someone like Arthur to get a bit of attention in the comedy circuit of the 80s is REALLY well observed. It really wasn't implausible that Murray Franklin would do a side-joke about Arthur's comedy. One NQR: Someone taped Arthur's act and sent it to a comedy show. In the 80s, this would've been tricky as there were no smartphones. It would've required a rather large and obtrusive camcorder. Someone in the audience? (Or maybe the owner of the club?) Also, Arthur becoming a controversial hero for a subway shooting was based on a real incident in the 80s, and unexpected violence on live television was known to happen in the 80s. It could all have really happened. Here's an observation: Johnny Carson's initials are JC. Three letters down from J is M. Three letters down from C is F. MF. Murray Franklin. Bit of a clever connection.
