i literally deleted all social media apps from my phone and use my macbook to check social media. I have set a timer everyday at 7pm to check social media for 30 minutes. So that has been great for me :))

5:09 loved what you said ‘bout upgrading your iPhone! In 2021 I went from an iPhone 8 to the 12 (base model) and I don’t see me changing it in the near future ‘cause as you said iPhones are all the same now except for very few features, so it’d be a huge waste. Secondly, I really love this phone, it has pretty much all I need and I found my own personal way to make it less distracting 💜

another thing that i found that really helps is turning off tap to wake and raise to wake, so when you want to go scrolling you conciously have to press the power button, not just picking it up or tapping the screen

I love these videos! I can’t remember how long ago it was but the first time I saw an earlier one of your phone tour videos where you showed how you only have a few crucial apps on the Home Screen, it changed my life! I used to be one of those people with every single app meticulously organised into folders, either by theme or colour, but when I realised the App Library exists I hugely cut down my Home Screen and it’s not so overwhelming and only has the apps I use daily and useful widgets. Deleting social media apps a while ago too has really helped me steadily spend less time on them, and now I basically never go on my personal social media. Anyway, thanks for sharing ❤️

GREYSCALE supremacy!!!!!!! color phone now is too bright and saturated and hurts my eyes! i do have a double tap feature on the back of my phone so i can toggle grayscale off occasionally to go into color to see a picture someone sent me, but otherwise i prefer grey now!

I'm glad to see the parallax bug here too. SO I'm not the only one having this issue. You can see the notification dots and search bar move in 3D when the phone is moved. The icons are stuck. But they should move too! They actually do after restart. Until you swipe in app library or widget screen! This is a bug Apple hasn't fixed for years now. It is so annoying. Test it yourself on your devices, this needs attention. I think many people don't even know that parallax is still there - but not working properly. And everyone claims Apple works and runs so smooth hahaha
