My three children have the same age range, and I understand the busyness. I love the outdoors, and would walk them to a little playground about twice a week. Or walk around the block. Mornings were always best, before the mid-day heat. This way we all got some exercise, the older kids got worn out and slept better. One of the best things was that we'd chat with each other, learn about respect for neighbors' property/ toys, flowers and plants at the park and more. Often we would get leaves and other things for home projects. It definitely did us all good! Take care!!!

I'm also trying to prioritize my health and moving my body. It's so hard to get into the routine and stick with it and it's even harder to keep the motivation after chasing after my littles all day! I've started doing 1 mile walks at a fast pace 2x a day now that it's a little more tolerable outside (fellow Floridian). Pushing a double stroller is no joke. I'll watch whatever content you post but I'd love to follow along with your health journey! Also always enjoy ditl and what my kids/family eats. I love meal ideas!

Love your honest videos and genuine self! After my second C-section I realized I too have diastasis recti bc I look like I’m still pregnant (10 months PP) and there’s this gap below my belly button and below in my stomach. I also learned that traditional workouts can make it worse so I looked up a program that specifically focuses on that (not free of course but it was intimidating to start on my own since I didn’t know) and it’s been great so far, plus I also rode my Peloton for 15-20 mins too. No matter what give yourself grace and you’re doing a great job!

Here’s what I did to get back into working out: I bought two 5 pound weights, got a cushioned yoga mat, and I searched “post pregnancy workout” and slowly reintroduced myself to moving my body, very LOW impact!! Maybe start with strength training (weights) 40 seconds of reps, anything you find for that, and repeat. I follow Rebecca Louise on KZbin, she has very LOW impact workouts for any stage you’re in❤

I have tried and failed to maintain a workout routine after my first, for YEARS. My problems were things like having to move again, someone in the family needing surgery, my kid crying hysterically and trying to stop me EVERY time I started working out again, and then asking a million questions that kept interrupting me. He is kindergarten this year and I FINALLY have uninterrupted, consistent time to work out again. We're not moving, we only have one more major surgery planned, and it's not for me, and the stars are finally aligning. And we've decided to start trying for number 2 this summer. 😅😅😅 I will then be possibly starting the whole cycle all over again. Maybe kid 2 will let me workout pregnant. Number 1 sure as hell didn't. But my current mission is to kick my butt as much as possible from now til this summer and then maintain whatever I can physically maintain during this next pregnancy and new born life! Lol I used to hear mom's say, really embarrassedly that now that their kid was in school they needed to loose the baby weight. I never judged. Everyone's life is different. But boy do I understand now on a whole other level what that's like!!!😂😂

So now I’m exhausted and having a hard time working out at all. I have a 3.5yearold, 11month old also, I currently entered the 2nd trimester. We also just moved from an apartment to a 4,500sq ft house where every room needs multiple projects, not all cosmetic. My husband and I are trying to do the projects ourselves. When do I workout lol?! I feel forever exhausted and I feel like I have no muscle to go through labor again. I know I need to workout but can’t find the energy. Hi momma! U should try postpartum yoga/10-15mins yoga beginner.. I am not into workout and not athletic either. But as soon as i gave birth, i was struggle with my baby weight. I start by doing yoga 10-20mins every alternate days or when I have my free time. Preferably once u wake up. If u are still bf then I highly recommend! Benefit that I got, i realize i have toned arms.. Not so much but better than before. My mental health is great too. And u start to be mindful with what u eat once u start yoga. Hope this helps mamma! Dont jump into intense workout..this will demotivate you especially u are beginner. U can start by low impact but consistent (3x a week should be fine) Look up to Yoga by bird Yoga kassandra

One more thing Kayla that I would like to share with you. Last year, on Augut 28th to be exact, I had major surgery. I had 2 different kinds of cancer. I did chemo afterwards -three treatments -enough to make me so sick. Anyway, it’s been a year -I started watching your channel when Sean was born…anywho, two weeks after surgery, I was walking, not easily and it hurt so much, but I did it. From the bed to the porch outside and back 3 times a day. Thankfully, I had been walking 2 miles a day since 2018 and that helped my healing process. I’m back to my old routine -almost, and I’ve gained 10 pounds, but I love to go on my walks. I use to hate it, but now I love it. Kayla, after I do a walk, I feel great and happy. I love that feeling. I also love that I go outside and get sunshine and fresh air, I’ll listen to music while I walk. It feels wonderful and it releases stress and bad thoughts -I know you know this. You can change your thought process that you hate it, Begin by convincing yourself of all the positive things that you like when you walk. And then, just do it. Good luck my Cuban friend. Que viva Guatemala tambien. Oye chica, a mi me importa. Sos como una hija o nieta --tengo 71 anos tu.
