I think they are having a "professional separation" because their combined "brand" has been a flop. I doubt they'll be any more successful apart than they are together. Meghan is apparently still having problems with ARO trademark issues. It just seems like she is delaying the inevitable collapse of ARO by dragging out the trademark problems, which have been further complicated by a challenge from Harry & David regarding their "Royal Riviera" brand pears. I'm not sure how Netflix can have any kind of tie-in with ARO if the trademarking is not complete. Given how long this trademark process has dragged on, I don't see how she can rebrand quickly enough for it to matter to the Netflix show (it it ever airs).

I think what is starting out as a "professional" separation is going to develop into a marital split. Meghan seems set on the Hollywood, entrepreneurial stuff for which she is totally unequipped. Harry does seem to have an interest in charitable causes, but he lacks the direction or skill to make a success of it. They appear to have diverging priorities (and I think Harry must have been fed up with being Meghan's spare!); don't know how that can't lead to a parting of ways.
