I disagree the whole time that Scott equates them to the trailer fighting / volatility. Do you do that to other victims of abuse? He did call her names etc, but equate him to this being trailer volatility, nope. He was an abuse victim. Remember. Many of us have heard ALL THE AUDIO AVAILABLE. Including Australia. (She claims the Australia audio proves what he did. It does not. It has her admitting she hurt him and it has others protecting her from police for JD). Just an FYI.

Police. Remember the audio where she mocked him about telling the judge, jury and the world? We all know men do not come forward as easily when they are abused. They are not believed. Even with proof. They have to spend money in court to prove it. And even then society tends to still treat them as the abuser. The results of this case proves it with all those who still push AH as the victim of abuse and him as the abuser. Tsk, tsk, tsk Scott. ;)

This woman wasn't done with him after the divorce. She had to ruin him. She had to ruin his career. She could have just been done with him. But she had to flatten him financially. She took full advantage of guilty because of accusation. She accused him and for Disney he was automatically guilty. He's fighting for his life and his 30 year career. Kudos to him for not allowing her to get away with lies. As a practical matter, she doesn't have 50 million dollars, but he needed a chance to fight for his vindication. Good for him. I hope he wins.

Johnny needs his reputation back! He is the victim not her. Amber turd will torture him financially and emotionally for the rest of his live if he doesn’t protect himself in court right now. He is out of his comfort zone and was hoping she would back off but unfortunately she will never stop attacking him. Evil in my opinion. Johnny has already WON in the court of public opinion. Just because he is an alcoholic doesn’t mean he is abusive. Johnny should have called the cops and got a restraining order when his finger was lopped off and a lit 🔥 cigarette butted put in his face !!!!! It can’t be good to be amber turd from this trial forward. Live and learn you can’t treat people like this. Assult is unacceptable.

I think even if he loses the defamation case, he wins in the court of public opinion, he gets his side of the story out. the People can see he's been abused, and gained back any fans he lost in her lie. he'll go on to make more movies and maybe even one about his life married to her, one day.

I was a military nurse for a long time, and an EMT. Depps describes, in a very common way, a recollection of an injury like he sustained. Many people will remember having gone through a traumatic injury, and are surprised they didn't feel pain right away. They first feel the warmth of the blood. I believe his smile at "looking at my bone" is also a common reaction. Many patients I've spoken with do the same smile because they remember the shock of seeing inside their body while their brain is saying, "that's not right!" Most people don't have exposure to blood, guts, and bones. It's not only a physical shock to see a piece of your body gone, but it's a mental shock. Love your vids!

I was knifed in the stomach as a kid in a street fight. Even know when I tell the story I inevitably smile and I remember the physical details and not the fear at first. One thing I feel you have all missed is that anyone who was abused as a child learns very quickly to minimize their pain--to temper all 'complaints'. I feel his smiles are this mechanism at work. He smiles to dismiss his pain, his injuries, to laugh it off in case acknowledging it brings on more of the same abuse. It's a defensive reflex.

I don't think people have missed what you describe, they just don't know the name for it. I agree, it's a coping mechanism for him. His reactions and actions, even in verbal tapes submitted for evidence, his anger I'm even controlled. He tried not to deflect anything onto her and take it all himself. Amber is a true bipolar with psychotic tendency. If you watch other tapes of her being questioned you can she how smug and self righteous and indignant she is. This women seriously need medication and psychological help permanently. Until then, I really don't think the rest of us are safe around her. Thank you for your keen insight.

Agreed. My sister's reaction to bad events is laughter. If she sees a jump scare for example she would get shocked and then start laughing. The worst it is the more she laughs. At one time she was swimming and her leg cramped and she started drowning. She was laughing so hard that when in the seconds her head would pop out of the water she couldn't breathe. My aunt thought she was playing and was laughing with her, until someone pointed out that she was drowning. Thankfully she got out safely.

With 2D vision, looking at bright screens causes headaches & frequent floaties among a plethora of other things many who see w only 1 eye, have. The necessity to protect remaining seeing eye is imperative so good idea to always have some lens in any case, shaded outside & when reading quite necessary. Also, may require bifocals or assistance w vision in seeing eye. Nonetheless, his need to wear tinted lenses is something 99% or more monocular people are very familiar with. FYI.

Absolutely! I was diagnosed with Anosometropia (Amblyopic type) when I was 3 years old. I was very lucky to have had such early, high quality intervention…yet have still struggled with issues due to the condition throughout my adulthood. Photophobia (medical term for extreme sensitivity to bright lighting) has been an ongoing problem. I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraine years ago, and specifically, FL-41 tinted lenses are often deemed as being medically necessary for many fellow Migraineurs I know in various situations. I did not think twice about his use of tinted glasses in Court as I noted he was putting them on whilst looking directly at a bright electronic screen in front of him and removing them after viewing the screen. I myself have several different tools to help with Photophobia/preventing Migraine & Eyestrain from screens emitting bright/blue light. The Court is supposed to uphold these types of medically necessary accommodations.

I wanted to add that when I was 27 I had a waterskiing accident and my thumb was cut off by a boat propeller. Johnny’s description of a traumatic amputation is spot on- all the way from no pain at the moment of amputation to shock when one sees the bone protruding from the injury is indicative of a sharp object suddenly cutting of the digit. This doesn’t happen on a crush injury or other type of digit loss. Johnny being initially unaware he lost his fingertip would be consistent also. As a person who’s experienced the same thing AND being a registered nurse, I have to say this is a shock response and also Johnny suffered significantly as the hand has more nerves than any other part of the body. In addition his MRSA infection could have become so serious he could have lost his hand or arm - or possibly ended up in ICU with a potentially fatal septic shock from MRSA. So Amber could have been prosecuted for a serious crime had Johnny wanted to go after her for this when it happened.

But they both were chaotic with each other. Heard doubled down by going public and playing wounded fawn when she was an aggressor. That's what's wrong here. She pretended she was an abused woman. She and Johnny were fire and intense in their relationship and they both should have walked away from the relationship without going public with a dog whistle. Johnny did that. Amber didn't. I think Johnny’s laugh/smile when he’s talking about his hand injury is a laugh or smile at the absurdity and utter disbelief of the extremity/severity of the situation. It’s as though he laughs at the futility of trying to explain Amber’s behavior to others. People don’t want to wrap their minds around the possibility that a seemingly rational person (as Amber appears to be to the public) would act the way that Amber does. I laugh and smile like this and that’s usually what I am thinking. My mother is a personality clone of Amber. Her behavior is eerily identical. ✅ Borderline personality disorder. ✅ Narcissistic behavior. ✅ Rapid cycling of emotions. ✅ Provocateur. ✅ Violent & Aggressive. ✅ Manipulative as hell. People often don’t believe me at first when I talk about things that happened in my childhood. It’s too much for them to imagine.

I can really relate to the way Depp tells the story. When you’re not an aggressive person and you’re confronted with a crazy borderliner, you can’t believe people act that way. You’ve no idea what’s going on and why somebody would act that way. Like when you deal with a narcissist, you can’t believe somebody can be that manipulative. Why would you act that way? I do not condone nor support any of Amber’s allegations, behavior, or attempts at higher social status using the ACLU and Me Too movement to further her reputation using false allegations; if Hollywood could strip her “status” I would be the first to sign the petition. I’m horrified that she has been labeled BPD because she is NOT indicative of us all. That said… As someone with BPD I can understand why you’d say that, however I’d like to impress upon people that for BPD’s there is a struggle between, a lack of personal identity, a constant fear of abandonment and the conflicts that arise out of that fear. People with BPD have EXTREME emotions and can range from utter rage to pure bliss in a matter of hours. The conflict arises when we feel like we’re about to be abandoned (justifiably or not) and our emotions escalate to extreme in .06 seconds. The person witnessing the extreme emotions, having no idea how to respond, typically respond in triggering ways that in turn escalates the rage. (for example, leaving) That’s where the conflict arises. Living with this disorder for so many years I have been able to “roadmap” these issues and offer people close to me various ways of de-escalating or diffusing or otherwise reacting in ways that allows us to move from rage back into bliss without damaging either’s “relationship rights”. I hate conflict, avoid it at all cost. However, if conflict arises I do have the wherewithal to mind my manners and not engage in any type of abusive behavior verbal, physical or otherwise. Please be mindful to remember people with BPD are not worse than anyone else they just need special accommodation and understanding. Amber’s behavior clearly is unacceptable, wholly unjustified and completely disgusting but I have to believe in my heart of hearts it’s because she never took the time, nor did her family take the time to diagnose her and encourage her to get the therapy she needs earlier in life, thus it’s easier to raise good children than fix broken adults. ❣️ ❤️ If you ever want to know why someone is acting a certain way, take the time to ask them. ❤️

Worked in DV for ten years and her body language is not consistent with what I would normally observe in DV victims. Most DV victims can't even stand to be in the same room let alone stare down their alleged abuser. Jonny Depp seems to avoid her eye contact from the footage I have seen. It truly disgusting if what I suspect is true about her allegations as this is not only a slight on Johnny Depp but all victims of DV.

I totally agree! As a survivor of DV myself, I could not fathom staring at my abuser that way. In fact, I never even considered taking him to court for his treatment of me, bc it makes my skin crawl just to imagine having to be anywhere near him again. I once was working in a restaurant and his doppelganger came in to eat and it caused me so much fear and panic that I was shaking the entire time he was there, even though I knew it wasnt my abuser, just another man who looked like him. My brain was saying "it's okay, it's not him, just a random customer " and my heart and whole body was screaming at me to run out of the restaurant and get as far away as possible. Seeing the way Heard can just stare at Depp and have no fear response and almost unchanging expressions, really convinced me that there is no way he abused her. Plus the fact that in recordings of them she calls him names and says all sorts of instigative things. When I was with my ex, there was no way in hell I would ever say something that could cause him to be upset. Never ever ever. No way would I want to start a fight with him if it was avoidable. It's so clear to me she was the abusive one in this relationship.

In cases of women DV on men the woman gets the TRO 1st which immediately classifies the other party the abuser. He cannot get any resources as the abuser. And people do treat you weird, different, and are. wairy of the man. Lower economic status gives these manipulative type women free access to legal help, and the "Women helping Women" organizations write TROs in abundance to hype their numbers for more money in grants from government. After 2 TROs (all full of lies and untruths) you would think that judges would put a stop to a 3rd, 4th, and now a 5th all in 8 years time for a person/man I write court motions for.. These woman use the system to punish, manipulate, torture, alienate the children, and become relieved of financial responsibility through the men they trap. Some unspoken law, or a real law that you have to believe the abuse victim, and take them at their word with no evidence. Makes me think of Gabriel Fernandez. Sad ...Something is very lacking in our society. Johnny Depp is making history for men, and at the same time shaming the system we live in. We can do better.

No one is ever able to describe the real horror and helplessness of abuse. The abuse is numbingly loud, emotionally and physically painful, contemptuously dismissive, fearfully invasive, etc. To tell the story, you tell some details, but no one understands 1) the lead up to the abuse, 2) the accusations the abuser uses as justification for the abuse that is coming, 3) the out of control out-of-body response to being abused, 4) the fear of acknowledging and feeling the physical pain because the abuse may start again in you are to hurt, and 5) the forced emotional dampening required to not remind the abuser of what he/she did, and 6) the inability to find a safe place to suffer. Telling people about abuse also can never convey the sound of abuse. The hits, the yelling, the painful responses, the whimpers stifling the sound, the sound of a body hitting walls and furniture and the floor and the items on the tables, etc. The thing the movie "The Burning Bed" did right was the sounds of abuse. Don't watch the TV. Just listen.

The very measured, careful word choosing is a trait I've noticed in other abuse victims. When you are dealing with a disordered/high conflict/ abusive person, they will often be 'triggered' by certain words or phrases, using the 'incorrect' term or word can send them off into a tirade. So the person who is trying not to set off their abuser will measure words very carefully, keep the tone neutral and soft, and do everything they can to sound calm and soothing, nonconfrontational. The slips into saying 'you are getting hit'...he's depersonalizing in order to protect himself and his abuser, turning it into a third person recital of events rather than making it about what was done to him, what she did to him, because he knows that would be triggering to her, to admit to himself and to her that he felt abused. Would send her into another storm of abuse, or would be admitting to himself the shameful and 'unmanly' fact of being beaten by a woman. Y'all are dead-on about the smile. It's not duper's delight, it's not 'funny' it's a rictus, and the smile when asked if he had ever sexually assaulted her hurts him as deeply as every other incident that he responded to with the rictus-- recounting physical abuse, loss of career, loss of public approval/admiration, loss of reputation.

A guy who had been badly physically and emotionally abused by his (bigger and stronger) wife told me once that people don't realise how hard it is to be a male abuse victim, he said that women and children are rightfully supported, protected and defended when it comes to light that they have been mistreated but his experience was a complete lack of sympathy. He was told to "Grow a pair" or "Be a man" (he WAS a man, a gentle man who was taught to never hit a woman, even in retaliation). He was treated with scorn and derision and had absolutely no legal recourse. Of course he got out (eventually) and of course he had to pay a large proportion of his earnings over to his abuser each month. Sometimes we need to open our eyes to the fact that the preconceived ideas we have aren't always right.

But after a lot of hesitation all he could say was that they were “having trouble” and asked me how he could fix it. Then 6 mos later, she almost killied him one night with a hammer, and he had to call 911 to save his life. Later he told me he hesitated even then because he knew that 911 call would enrage her even more, set into motion a chain of legal events, and make everything he was going through public. And it did. Her DV trial is this summer. So JD not calling the police and trying to handle the AH situation privately is understandable from this perspective.
