No doubt, I play solo all the time and plate/reload immediately when the opportunity presents itself. Those damn bots get so annoying when you're trying to get away or at least stealthily defend yourself. I do leave most the bots alone on one Koschei Complex in Al Mazrah since they are an alarm and somewhat of a defense against attacking squads. One location randomly there can be multiple shielded bots which is fun listening to a squad fight them of while I get away. lol

There are definitely a lot of toxic players AND teams right now.... but not all. Playing solo and dealing with teams like this have made me a better player. I almost appreciate their help in my training, until I die and get pissed. LOL

Something I like about MWZ is the lack of PVP instead opting for PVE and also I was never really good at warzone in general.I am still yet to try DMZ but it seems like fun since I like collecting stuff.

Be careful though. Once you start and actually start progressing, it will ruin every other type of game style for you because no other game creates the "gear fear" that in turn gets your adrenaline pumping and your heart racing like DMZ. You've been warned!

I'm not that good but I still play solo. The toxicity from randoms expecting me to play medic while I'm off doing my own thing (missions) left me with no reasonable option but to turn squad fil off. I still have prox chat turned on but removed my mic. I'm basically one of DMZs Houdini escape artists. Foiling hunt squads is one of my fave things to do.

The fact that this mode is so relentlessly brutal for solos, is part of what makes it fun to play solo for me. I like to play it with a stealth playstyle, where the satisfaction comes from moving through an area without enemy players ever knowing I was there. This is more true of Al Masra though, where the map is larger and this is a more feasible playstyle. As for groups killing me, that's the consequence for failure to maintain stealth. I find most squads who kill a solo will pick them up anyway, then you can go around PVPing with them for the rest of the round. Its less fun when you have a mission that requires you to go in with a lot of money though, because then stealth will be completely negated by the fact you get contracts put on you constantly.

this is one of the reasons i fell in love with DMZ, this game mode always had smart tactics in mind, you can drop a full platoon if you know what youre doing cuz chances are the platoons only have one play and thats throwing bodies at you thing is, i dont have that much of a reason to play it since theres nothing new to do, no missions to complete and i pretty much have everything

It's so funny you say that!! I actually tried making videos similar to Loochy but it was so tough. I think I made 2 and neither were very successful. Nowhere near as good as his. This one I wasn't even trying to. I just wanted to try to show the drawn out fight and how it went all around the map. When I think about how this video ended up I guess you are right. I recently tried dmz for 1st time. Made it to level 47. Trying to do missions is impossible and thats the reason i wanted to try dmz. What dmz is now compared to when i watched it during its 1st year is totally different. All it is now is toxic trash pushing and hunting . When in reality aint that warzone at that point .. so i left dmz and uninstalled cuz why have 2 warzones taking space on my system . You would think players would want more people playing this mode to maybe put more eyes on why dmz needs to stay or have a sequel . Instead the tryhards , the one pump chumps and cheaters ruin the gamaeplay for everyone. I get its pvpve but its become mostly pvp so whats the point to play when warzone is pvp also and is better all the way around.

If a player loads in with me and says they are doing missions, I help them. Yes there is a lot of PVP, but that just makes everything more exciting. When you play are you trying to run missions solo? That would be a terrible decision!! And if you come in with a team, do you speak and tell them you are working on missions? Most people load into the raid then just go off to do their own crap and don't even talk. Warzone moved to MW3 and the movement mechanics are turning COD into a gymnastics battle not a gun game. I played the older Warzone and got bored. Running from the gas all the time got old quick.

As someone who plays the division as a solo player when I run the dz I tend to even help out groups and such taking a common item such as a gun or a bag meanwhile doing most of the work and letting the groups take full gear basically. But there's always that one time groups try to prevent me from extracting with my loot to the point I actually type in the dz chat hey either let me extract my gear or I wipe you guys out and extract whatever you have on you. Sometimes playing with random players can be just as frustrating as playing solo. I wouldn't judge a person by playing either way. What I will say though, is in it's current state of things, playing solo isn't a great idea. I would consider myself to be an above average player, and playing solo is hard for me. If I was trying to learn this game mode with all of it's ins and outs, solo wouldn't be the way to do it. Solo lobbies wouldn't be any better. There would still be solo players running around to every spawn just to kill other players. Yes it would only be a 1v1, but it would be harder to locate attackers that are more stealth. The beautiful thing about teams, is they are sloppy. 95% of the time you will see 1 or 2 players coming long before they get there. Keep trying and don't give up. Just do so with a little team protection.

I’m play solo and get the hammer often but it just makes u better and better. Nobody better ever cry about solos doing the koshi glitch either or using the one shots. Hell we need all the help we can get out there. At least if people gone hunt solo players then at least revive them and let them join. I wanna bring the spark back to DMZ at least for a lil season or so. Get me a 4 man squad and call ourselves the BUY Station Bullies 😂 and stream it live so everyone is welcomed. Of course we gone die a lot but it would feel good to have lucci Onic phixate Dillon all them guys coming to stop us from being buy station bullies. It would be so epic to do that bc everyone would be after us. Just having plain ole fun and enjoying the gameplay. DMZ has different types, there are search missions and stuff. You don't have to take on the PVP ones. You do have to avoid others who do, but in terms of solo those missions prioritize people with high K/Ds and number on their team. Chances of a solo getting targeted is low.

When my contraband gets low I do this thing I call a gun run. I won't get into the details here, but I can go an entire match and not even see other players. And not just one game every so often, but I can do 10 or 15 gun runs back to back and maybe see 1 or 2 players the entire time. There are ways to avoid other players.

Welcome to the reality of what I deal with almost every time I play, since I only play solo. Getting to be a master at avoiding squads though sometimes I get lucky and kill one or two if they get too close and then I get away. I never use exfil helicopter points only Koschei and don't venture for from one since they always attack with multiple UAVs in their inventory. Not fair at all since it's usually 3 if not 4 vs 1 but that's how these A holes play.

That was kinda the point of this video. Teams chasing solo players for the "easy" kill will not always be the case. Every now and then they will run into someone like me that enjoys the PVP and isn't afraid to fight but moreso will gladly wipe a 3 or 4 man squad if need be. I am currently working on another video where I dropped 10 kills on Ashika most of them solo and the last team that pushed me was a 4 man. I should have it ready to go in the next few days. You should enjoy that one as well!

My favorite partt about playing solos in DMZ is when you get fully killed by an enemy team and then they send you a request to join their team when after they killed you completely like after you're down and everything and then you're literally stuck in the menu receiving your points and have no choice but to go back to the main menu

There's nothing wrong about chasing solo's, but just being annoying is the saddest thing you can be. Chasing people in the gas when even the final exfil is going to be a stretch, camping the exfil chopper and knowingly chasing solo's just to make their game miserable when they're overrun by AI when trying to do missions is just sad. You have to remember, when players are chasing you, they have no idea what kind of gear you have or how much money. Everyone just wants to say they "cleared the map" which includes any and all players they can find regardless of team member counts. I wouldn't play solo if you don't have to. I would say I am a decent player and I have played many rounds solo but if I had the choice, I wouldn't. I have to be really annoyed to come in solo anymore.

Played alot of dmz back when it first launced. Grinded missions with a guy i met in game till we unlocked all 3 insured slots. Boy was it a grind. For those of you saying you just want to be able to do your missions and be left alone are missing the point of the mode. The whole point is the pvp aspect makes it that much more blood pumping. Trying to do missions and have to worry about players interfering is what its all about. When grinding missions i had plenty of times where i was about to finish a mission but got killed by other players ruining the whole run, but thats the point and what made the experience better. You never knew what expect. I was also on the other end too, hunting down players who were doing missions and ruining their runs. Its all part of the game mode. Ho estly tnat was the whole reason to grind out tne missions and unlock the insured weapon slots so tnat once that was all done we could just enter a match with our loadout and start hunting other players as im sure thats what majority of peoples agenda was. The reason you did missions was for the insured loadouts so that you could start the match with an advantage on everyone else

Did you not watch them chase me around the entire map? I went to the exfil behind castle and they pushed so I had to loop all the way around the map to get to the exfil in front of PP. When they spotted me they pushed me from the castle. This was not a case of wrong place wrong time. This was hunting! This was a team of 3 I killed in PP not 2. And just for the record, I wasn't crying. This video was meant as a warning to players that continue to chase solos thinking they will be easy kills. Solos are not always easy to kill.

There should be an option to play DMZ PVE. I WOULD PLAY IT MORE OFTEN IF IT DID. ORDER OF MODES I ENJOY... Note I have bought every COD Since Modern Warfare original releases BO3, 4, infinite Warfare WW2. I hate being forced to play PVP just to progress. MWZ MW3 ZOMBIES is the ONLY ZOMBIES MODE I ENJOY. ROUND BASED ZOMBIES has been around for forever time to modernize and change, treyarch is stupid for going back to round based. The Marriage of Zombies+warzone map brilliant, then make all DMZ maps zombie mode areas and you get infinite replay. I miss survival mode which was a joke in modern warfare 2019. Zombies from modern warfare 3 is mostly all I will play. I still haven't finished the Zombies acts yet. Should be able 2. . I stopped playing RB6 SIEGE because they removed terrorist hunt.... what?? I hope everyone gets the COD we all deserve and want they should have the best offerings and the players for once should get what they want. I wanted to see a return of original MW3 survival at least I could play that solo. MW3 Zombies, DMZ, a DMZPVE, WARZONE, then mp. I have been playing video games for 5 decades. You should have been around when games were better because there wasn't the internet accessible to do updates games HAD TO BE functional otherwise they wouldn't sell. The internet has made game devs (except for indie devs) LAZY and UNINNOVATIVE. hope games get better soon.

Boy, there sure is a lot to unpack in this comment. I don't think DMZ PVE would be much fun. What fun would it be to loot and EXFIL each game? The PVP adds the gear fear to the mix which is what makes it so intense! There isn't another game variant like it that can create the same feelings. I agree devs have become lazy. It really is a shame what these COD games have become. Too much emphasis on movement and not enough on guns or tactics. I really believe they are missing the bar here! Thank you for all you said. All I do is search for zombies to kill or farm exfil spawns, otherwise the game is super boring because there aren’t any fun contracts after awhile they all got old, unstable rift is literally UNSTABLE to play, same with the other aether zones, tier 3 is far more infuriating then fun cus I feel like I have to run away 24/7 to survive even with staminup.

@chrisupton6190 well unlike you I still haven't gotten a chance to do all story missions and I can't ever hope to do that ever in dmz because of all the forced pvp. Personally I think it was really good to get out of round based. I hate the new round based I want to have a full area. Since when do you speak for all COD players. First off I have played more MW3 Zombies than I have ever played round based. I love being able to exfil when I want and the procedural generation contracts and unique situations that occur. Plus round based gets so difficult too quickly i want to be able to choose when I am ready to go into a dangerous zone not have it forced I like the mission objectives and the new innovations, maybe if the franchise didn't always abandon a project before its fill development maybe we would have better games instead of this mediocre bs. I have been gaming since atari 2600 intellivision commodore 64 and arcades when games actually had quality and innovation. Going back to round based was a step backwards. I prefer MW3 ZOMBIES better I have played more COD because of this innovation for Zombies mode. Unlike you I don't exploit cheats in game design to milk and choose to bore myself with monotonous activities when I still have to go through the actual 4 acts which I haven't been able to do yet . It is dumb to go back because they have been doing that since black ops 2 or 3 when Zombies came out. Now it's time to innovate. Everyone loves DMZ now so MW3Z was a merge of DMZ and Zombies and I am so glad it was PVE forced I am so sick of this toxic community ruining my enjoying a game I pay full price for these games. I should be able to play the game I want without having another player grief me because I actually want to enjoy the immersion and experience the game. I have bought nearly every call of duty since the original Modern Warfare release trilogy. I have played and supported these developers that half ass their way through another COD game and barely make any forward innovative strides. I wish you could have been around when game devs actually made good solid and long lasting games not this shovelware cut and paste garbage every few years taking out features that I love about the game only to be let down in the next version. It's stupid and if I had project lead for this franchise I can tell you the world would be blown away for what my vision would be. And maybe the community actually might be pleased with the quality concepts and innovations I would build on and keep. I am designing a tabletop rpg right now and I am not going to release it till it is at a worthy level of quality that would put Activision to shame. I think gamers today lack imagination and it's these exploits that players use which ruin the immersion you want to break your game fine, but don't put me down for recognizing that continuing not to move forward with new ideas is just not what game development is. You innovate keep pushing hardware and gameplay limits and characteristics and keep building on them not just repeating what is proven to work. That's just stagnation. You want to live in the past go ahead but thank God I don't have to buy Black Ops 6. I wouldn't pay 1 cent for that piece of garbage. Thankfully I know and have lived long enough to know the difference between a unique and innovative game and just a mediocre game. Too bad you weren't around or maybe you were and forgot how much more quality games of past had. And how they had to be as perfect and polished as possible as back then there was no internet to download updates. GAMES HAD TO BE AS BUG FREE AS POSSIBLE BACK THEN. Maybe you should do a self reflection or research of how video games evolved in the beginning you just might be surprised then maybe you will see how friggin lazy AAA developers are today. If ypu paid for a game that was 100$ 20 years ago you really got something SPECIAL ... NOT HALF FINISHED GARBAGE. look up the ORIGINAL ELITE and see how their innovation programming a decent size adventure and universe was created with just 64KB of memory!! Maybe then you might appreciate what it takes to make a decent and innovative game.

@ I never finished dmz either due to all the dog shit AI and emery players hunting me down 24/7, I’ve done everything there is to do in mwz it gets boring way quicker then round based does, all I have left is like 20 guns to get camos on and im done with mwz forever. Idk what exploits your refering to, but I hate the exploits like slide cancelling and b hopping myself, and how does round based get to hard to fast? You jump into tier 3 and later the aether and your getting swarmed by infinite super speed running or glitched out zombies that end up screwing you over, and if you lag out of the game out of the blue from crappy servers you get fucked over, atleast round based is easy to restart and get back to where you were, and a lot more zombies to kill constantly and consistently. And I’ve been playing games since the early 2000s when gaming was far better then anything now, specifically cod was better but I never got to experience it at launch I had to get into it late, I was a massive Nintendo fan and still am super mario galaxy and the Wii in general was my favorite console. But I’ve played all of the cods since cod 4 and most things back then we’re done far bette then they are now, but a lot of things are improved now compared to then aswell. Unfortunately this game series is a massive shitshow especially nowadays. Your forced to move on or hope the game you like stays around as long as possible before inevitably dying.

Chasing solos isn’t the problem with DMZ. PVP is, and PVP abuse is the sole reason they pulled the plug on DMZ outright.

They didn't necessarily pull the plug on DMZ. They simply stopped supporting MW2 completely. DMZ just got caught up in that move. And when it was time to move Warzone to MW3, they didn't want to take the time and $$ to port it over to MW3 because it would need to be a stand alone game and they didn't want to put in the $$ to support 3 full games for the year. PVP is not the issue with DMZ. If there is an issue I would say it is boredom. We have nothing to do other than PVP now because of the lack of support. This game would be completely different if they would've kept supporting it and PVP wouldn't be the main objective like it is now. The beauty of DMZ though, is that the missions are still available for anyone who wants to do them. Just a few days ago me and another person was helping a lvl 430 player with some of his passives. We probably played about 8 matches and each one we working on his missions. During one of the matches, we didn't even see another team until almost the end of the RAID and it was another solo that was also working on his missions. No one was killed and we all exfilled. Everyone chooses what they want to do. This game type has such potential. It could be one of the greatest games ever made with just a little effort on the devs part. So many players left when MW3 came out then came back to DMZ and now the same thing is starting to happen with BO6. Now that the newness is wearing off, players are starting to come back to DMZ again. I think that speaks volumes even in the current non supported situation.

I think it is even funnier when a solo dies and then please to be picked up announcing they are solo. Like they get special privileges or something. I can't tell you how many times I tell them to stop running solo and load with ransoms on their team. What's the difference if you want to join the team that kills you anyway?? I never plead. I just back out and start again.
