I moved to Oklahoma in December of 2023. I am ready to leave the state. This a poor state without a lot of opportunities. The pay is what I earned when I was in my 20. I am now in my 50. Cost of living isn't any better than where I came from

Edmond wouldn't be my choice. We're from LA and traveled all around the eastern half of the state and found Edmond to be one of the most overcrowded towns we visited. Kinda like Norman. To many people moving there, to much traffic, congestion, all the things we are trying to avoid. Edmond might be considered to be the top town for others to move to, but not for us. As far as tornadoes are concerned, there's nothing unique about Edmond that keeps tornadoes away. It's in the heart of tornado Alley and if Edmond hasn't had many tornadoes in recent years, it's only due to pure luck.

WRONG! Research has proven that "tornado alley" has migrated East. Guess which three states have most tornadoes - go ahead. It is Illinois, Alabama and Mississippi.
@18andlikeit2 ай бұрын
@@purplesprigs not really. Tornado Alley has EXPANDED to the east and south. For instance, Oklahoma has had far more tornadoes this year than the average year. "As of July 18, 2024, Oklahoma had 106 tornadoes, making it the sixth busiest tornado season in the state since 1950. The 2024 tornado season has been one of the busiest ever, with several record-breaking events.

Sculpture park is nice but wanting to raise home taxes for upkeep of it. Most houses below 200,000 are being torn town for 500,000 homes.
