Poor Lila... having a mother that never really cared since she was constantly worried about her sister... then gets caught being jealous... I think if they didn’t follow the advice of the old women they would have been fine as they’d have been treated equally ( hopefully) so Lila would have handled Marinette being her sister easier as at least instead of being jealous of a maid, she’d be understanding that the mom is also worried about her other sister... I imagine we’d all be jealous of our own mother paying more attention to another than us ( her children). She had to grow up being a princess and never understanding why she is and never will be enough for her mother’s love, never really understanding that her mother is taking care of her sister because of it being a secret... and not understanding why Adrian will never like her ( since I imagine she’d have tried her best to be likable and try to do things she thought he liked, which would play into her OG personality of being manipulative for attention. I hope there is a part three that gives a twist of Lila being able to explain why she hates Marinette, and maybe she can met Felix at Marinette and Adrian’s wedding... Obviously what Lila did was wrong, pushing someone into a lake to kill them... but a lake is a more shallow piece of water... and it’s not as deadly as a river... river = hit head instantly, ocean = possible drowning... Lake is a wild card of possibly hitting head from not being steep enough, surviving, and drowning.
