I did a Christmas Special video 2 years ago David and this video literally took me months to make with all mine and Jacks best bits in and the first night on it got literally 1000s of views so the next day that got deemed not suitable for viewing and to this day i don't know why, so this has actually put me off doing long vids as the time it takes and messing about its just not worth it.

Hi Simon, Well this is exactly why I’m weighing anchor and sailing off to sunnier waters. My video I did yesterday with the DNT chap got blocked ! And yet the same video clips and the added horrific dying deer footage was deemed ACCEPTABLE FOR MOST ADVERTISERS ! How’s that work then? My Christmas video took me an hour and a half to put together, and for now it’s Suitable 👍

I don’t really think you’ve got much to complain about though Simon as most of your videos are in the stratosphere after a few days or even weeks, I would hazard a guess that you’re probably doing a lot better than I am on the monetisation side of things, and indeed many other people too. Well done, you’ve obviously got the recipe for success 👏👏

Uploading a video to Rumble is so easy and when spending a day editing it, I’ve not had to tread on eggshells in doing it either

@ hopefully KZbin sees my comment. We spend fortunes on thermal and night vision. Helps seeing them in real world before buying. We’ve all spent money and been disappointed. Can’t shoot at any quarry you can’t identify. I’m back on my xq50 quantum from 8 years ago. Happy to tell KZbin your videos educational and I bet loads of other will to. All the best. @ I’ve found that setting it up on the laptop is the best way to get all your settings right, you can upload stuff really easily from your phone too, as long as you have a good signal

KZbin is very inconsistent as you know. I won't even monetise my videos. I'd rather not pee off my viewers with adverts for the pittance KZbin would pay. I'd rather get some decent gear to review and keep as that's more valuable than advertisements.

Well they can always skip the adverts most of the time, and from looking at the video data, most folks fast forward through anyway, I can tell those who do, coz they ask bloody stupid questions that were answered in the video

Crazy. Ok, so if I exit this video and type in " mounting a file scope" to KZbin, I get endless results of how to mount a scope etc. How does that figure??? Never heard of rumble till now but I'll check it out👍👍 Also theres loads of gun maintenance videos, how to work on triggers and PCP rifles etc. Doesn't stack up how that's ok but what you shown is not. Also at some point in most of your videos a clip is shown of a rifle wearing a scope posing in a nice sunset 🤣🤣

I find with You Tube there is a very inconsistent approach. You can see many US sourced "hunting" videos that sicken me ( as a hunter ). I like Forgotten Weapons, but Ian has had to move as well for some stuff because the deem full auto as unsuitable. It basically crap chap. Will take your advice. Keep posting.

I'm the same to some get monetised some don't.....but for me it's not about the money it's about the time that goes in to it then if it don't get monetised it don't get advertised and then it's real hard to get views I find. But I will check out this Rumble and see what it's about.

I’ve worked out that if I’m paid by THE HOUR for my videos, I’m earning a massive 7 pence an hour !! I’m sure the big boys that get tens of thousands of views overnight are doing much better than me though 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is that where folks have to pay to see your videos? Someone suggested I sell hoodies and baseball hats , but there’s not enough hours in the day for all that , if anyone wants a hoodie with a logo on, they can have it at cost and pay the postage. I always amazed me to see people buy a waistcoat with a Browning logo on , and pay £65 for it 🤷🏼‍♂️ Sadly, I don’t think our sport is watched enough for any of us to give up our day jobs, and live off the money. Rebuilding smashed up cars and SeaFishing, that’s where the audience is 👍🫵

I did watch that video of that deer slowly dying with the blood pumping and i was discussed. I am a hunter and no greenie but to show that was totally uncalled for. Itshould have been edited out by the owner of the video and for it to be allowed to be shown by you tube makes one wonder where their priorities lie. And to censor a scope mounted on a firearm shows that who ever is making these decisions has no clue. Don"t let the barstards win. Keep up the good work.

Talk about Rubber Goal posts, they move the line depending on what day I upload videos, I’m trying to second guess what is going to be acceptable every time. I suppose if my channel had 40,000 subscribers, I wouldn’t mind the odd one or two knock backs, but a good video viewing figure for me is around 4000, if I’m lucky, so were honestly looking at £4:00 for many hours and lots of fuel and other expenses .
