Hey bro do any of the others have the feeling of the benks on the back. I know the gen 4 is smooth the mous is between the two. Do any others feel like the benks??

@@iParacord I’d say the latercase and the Pitaka MagEZ 3 case seemed to offer a somewhat similar pattern feel on the back of them like on the benks case. However, the frame of the benks case was completely different when compared to those two as it was a lot more smoother. The benks also had a slippery feel on the back of it than the latercase and Pitaka magez 3. Hope that helps 👍

I think the Benks case might have the best protection because Everything Apple did a 50 feet drop test he use all the top case brands and the Benks was one of the best it protected the iPhone from 50 feet no damage on the phone

I've wanted another phone rebal case since I bought my last one for the iphone 11 pro. I loved that case, but didn't like the exposed sides. Of course with the 12 they made a cases fully enclosed. Well I finally upgraded my 11 pro for a 14 pro max and the first thing I bought was the gen 4 rebal case. Absolutely love it.

Probably would have been better if you used the Phone Rebel Gen 4 as it’s probably the best aramid fiber case I’ve tried so far. In fact it’s the only I kept between that, the Pitaka, the Mous and the Benks cases.

Yeah I bet the rebel Gen 4 is a solid case as well but I previously bought and used the flex series case last year and wanted to see what the newer one was like. Therefore, I decided to add it into this video instead of the Gen 4. Might consider reviewing all of them at some point 👍

The rebel gen 4 is so bulky. Benks and Pitaka more balanced with thinness and protection

@@3rdeye77 I disagree about the Gen 4 being bulky as it is actually thinner than the Mous, but has more pronounced corners for drop protection. But yes the Benks and the Pitaka are thinner and have better feel. However the Benks is too slippery especially for people with dry hands and the Pitaka’s buttons are just horrible especially when compared to all the others.

The Rebel cases are the best of all of the cases the build in the Gen 4 is fabulous and the interchangeable buttons and it’s not bulky they offer the best protection 🇮🇪😎👏

Mous Limitless 5.0 Aramid just got it and i freakin LOVE IT !! Best in Class Protection, being also stylish without being too bulky, great feel in the hand, nice clicky buttons, magsafe compatible i didn't have any issues at all, micro fibre lining on the inside which also helps reducing getting dust inside the device. (Its something important that nobody mention). What else could someone ask from a case ?💪

I got the Latercase for my new iPhone 15 Pro as I had one on my previous iPhone 11 Pro which did a great job of protecting the device from a few drops on hard surfaces.

I have my Pitaka Mag Ez 3 for 14 pro max. Even though it costs a pretty penny especially with the design weave I got, its sleek look and great magsafe sold it for me.

I have mous the pitaka and the benks in my opinion if your looking for protection mous kills it over all the cases car ran over my phone and not 1 mark then I would go with benks as the price is spot on can be bit slippery but not to bad it almost half the price of the pitaka case great review

I can’t say there was one that was really sticky out of all of these but if I were to say which one had the best rubber feel it was the mous limitless case with its frame design. Hope that helps 👍

@@pauliedidit it feels amazing good in the hand, pretty slim for what it is and dropped tested a few times with hardly any scratches on the case. (Only some really small mark on the soft part) I am not even looking for other cases anymore, almost perfect. Buttons are pretty good, only metal ones from original leather case felt better.

When you refer to other buttons bring better on original leather case do you mean another Benks case buttons were better? But if you say this aramid fiber case is good I’m a believer. I just hate buttons that rattle. I had got a catalyst case once and had to return the buttons were all rattling . Even when case is on. Thx

Latercase is fantastic. Lack if MagSafe magnet isn't an issue in real life. Holds on stand and car mount just fine.

I would get one, but I like the back of the iPhone so much that I got a clear one. It sucks it will most likely start yellowing. Kevlar looks nice, but you can really see the fingerprints

If your buyingan aramid case then i dont see why you would buy a large bulky one, the point is for it to be this and light, aramid carbon is strong so it can be thin and light

it would be better to compare the rebel gen-4 case, since it doesn't have open sides like the flex series... mous cases, for example, have a lot of tpu on the side, which have been proven not to change anything when it comes to protection. it's a waste of material (and money) to put on the side of the case, since only the corners are more protected with the tpu bumpers, so they can absorb impact. that's pure engineering. it feels that this comparisson was made only in the teorical side of the spectrum, like you're just reading and comparing specs. it's important to have a PRACTICAL comparisson, showing what actually changes something, or what is there just to look like it's better and to incresing your money spending.

Personally I thought the phone rebel flex 14 was the best out of all of them. Love that naked iPhone grip that you get on the exposed edges and it also had the strongest magnetic ring on it so all the accessories that I use would firmly stay in place. Certainly it’s not the most protective but if that’s a concern the phone rebel Gen 4 is an alternative and I bet it’s just as good.

My problem is -- Are carbon fibre/fiber phone cases safe? I don't mean drop or radiation/reception wise, I mean safe to touch all day? Carbon F is like glass beads or can be asbestos like. I have a very high end Carbon F case and my hands smell of it after holding it during the day. You touch your eyes, nose and breath it in. I don't think short term, but years of holding these cases all day. Cutting/working with it requires a mask but still, finished Carbon F gives off particles of dust. Any thoughts?

Thank you TECH UP for a great video, but... Please always show (and review) case front screen protection. I have several very protective cases for my 14 ProMax and they all seem to lack any reasonable front screen lip. A 2+mm front lip around the screen is critical to protect the front screen from scratches when the phone is laid face-down on a table. Unfortunately even most of the expensive heavy duty cases have near zero front screen lip and most reviewers never point that out. Thanks!

You’re welcome! Yeah..from this whole review the phone rebel flex 14 (even though it’s not as protective) and the mous limitless 5.0 offered the best front lip protection. As they provided thicker lips from the edge of the screen especially near the corners.

The worst thing about Aramid cases is the smudging. I have the Rebel Gen-4 and i had to return it after just a week. The severe smudging just make it looks old and beat up, also it scratches toooo easily. Also, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that mag safe attracts dust like crazy! i feel like i have to clean the glass around my camera at least twice a week to keep it looking very dusty.

@@Draxxuzownzu I still like aramid cases and smudging is certainly a downside with these but it’s quite common in other tpu or clear cases for that matter. If you really don’t want to deal with smudging it’s best to pick up a leather case. For me the reason I like to rock an aramid case is because it’s lightweight and feels great in the hand. On top of that it looks nice. That’s just my two cents.

@@Draxxuzownzu sounds good, yeah the aramid fiber on most cases is a little bumpy in texture but it’s nice. However some cases have a little more oleophobic coating and you may not get that but it’s a nice case to consider at some point aside from the smudges 😅

I sent back the Phone Rebel . Did not like it in person . I kinda knew it was an ugly design but thought I could deal with it. But not only that, it feels a little heavy and not comfortable in hand compared to Caudabe Sheath or Synthesis. Love Synthesis!The sides of Rebel feel somewhat slippery. I also didn’t like that the border around glass edge that you actually touch allot was pretty sharp not smooth and it felt unfinished. Basically an ok case if you can stand looking at it .The glass lip is great but the camera lip is extremely low. I think I am going to like the Benks or Pitaka Aramid fiber cases better. The Benks did really well in a 50 foot drop test and survived. I hear they fixed the Pitaka buttons and are not loose and mushy anymore. Does anyone have the Benks Aramid fiber case? I would like to know if the buttons on the Benks shake and rattle when you shake the phone or are they nice and tactile and not loose? Between Benks and Pitaka I wish I knew what’s overall better at this moment. Anyone know or have an opinion? Thx

DO NOT BUY Mag eZ Pro 3!!! This case it PEALS after a FEW months!!! It is not like the Pro Case for the 11 iPhone Pro Max. The front rim has a thin matte coating that feels great but will peal off quickly. More effort was spent on making the cardboard box it comes in.
