if you like the way the HK sounds you really should have a listen to the German Teufel boomster. it has no distortion also at max level and a gorgeous downfire sub which sounds perfect and very punchy but with the advantage of having a control button for the sub so you can reduce the bass

the h&k has no distortion and sounds better than the boomster tbh, that said the boomster still sounds brilliant and is impressivy loud. That said the h&k is a little picky with its places it sounds best when compared to the boomster tbf.

although i like the boomster best it's still compact and sounds great. i listened to both of them and i prefer the boomster but that's just audiophile commentary and no critic at all because the Go+play is also a really great speaker but i personally prefer the boomster

Out of all of these I'd get the Harmon Kardon speaker. I've had the Onyx studio for a while now and absolutely love it. Battery life isn't that long but the sound is massive, bass heavy and room filling. So much sound out of a portable device.

Nick Darnell I also own the whole lineup, and IMO the Charge 3 is the most impressive. However, do you really like the UE Megaboom..? I mean.. the features and all are nice.. but the sound is lacking quality.. There is no bass, only upper bass, it's not very loud, it's a very unbalanced sound. Look up "Clavinetjunkie Jbl Charge 3 vs UE Megaboom", his accent might be a bit weird, but he's a real professional with audio.

Why?? Why do people keep recommending the UE stuff?? Sure, some of the features are nice, but the sound is so bad.. there's only an ugly upper bass boost, and no real lower bass. Tons of intermodulation distortion problems, it's not even that loud. The 360 degree sound doesn't work, it's more like 2x90 degree sound, because from the sides, you still get a muffled sound. And, when listened to one speaker facing you, the whole stereo imaging is gone, because the other channel faces to the back. It's a very unbalanced sound, with no bass, and a strange missing treble "dip". It's just not worth the money, unless you really want the features.. most, of which, you can also find in other speakers.

Synthetic Parallels JBL Charge 3. B&O Beoplay A1. JBL Xtreme. JBL Flip 4. HK Go+Play. Vifa Helsinki. They're all better than any of the UE crap. UE is famous because they pay tons of money to everyone to do marketing.. Making everyone think that they're super good. But they're not.

Fred Deslauriers Yes, my favorite so far is the Flip 4. It's really impressive. The Flip 3 isn't bad either, but that one gets blown out of the water by the Flip 4. It's probably the best you can get now. It even outperforms the bigger Charge 3.

my suggestion is that you try the "sumagic Bigbox" mainly cuz its the smallest out of all these speakers and the sound quality is immense! its on amazon so u might aswell check that out. Also because its not expensive as you might expect so get the word out about something people can actually use out and about instead of just keeping a bluetooth speaker at home and not actually using it

Please consider Princeton-Audio: from Princeton, Wisconsin. The speakers are made of solid wood and is manufactured in the USA. The sound is better than any commercial products that is basically plastic and made across the seas. The speakers are all Bluetooth able and yet can accept hardwire for sonic reproduction. I'm surprised that you didn't look at the Mental Beats Harmony. Sure, it's a cheap Chinese speaker that kind of sucks, but it looks and feels almost premium, and with some equalizer tweaks, will sound decent. If anything, it'll deserve an honorable mention for cheap speakers (I paid $24.99 for it at Northwoods Wholesale in Michigan).

Thanks for the information. Even though, I will attend the advice of some video that uses other kind of music sample. The music you used give me no idea about real sound of each device because every instrument cauls sound the way the mixer have ever wanted. Mi advice: use music that really MUST sound in a given way. Otherwise, you ara only checking bass.

Becouse 3 hours is nothing nowadays there are some with 20 hours battery time but at least 7 8 or 10 hours .. 3 hours is going quick you have to plug in again if you want to listen longer.. harman kardon with 100w the best sounding "bluetooth" speaker i dont have a problem with that .. i have problem with the 3 hours battery time.

Janos Kallay who told you about the 3 hours? I own one myself and at half volume there's no problem whatsoever listening a whole day. You would need to listen very loud to get this speaker empty in 3 hours. And all the other speaker you were talking about with 20 hours battery life won't ever be so loud as this one.

We haven't even gotten halfway through the year. Besides that, every speaker here IS HORRIBLE. Just, pure, audiophile cringe. Everything is shrill, everyone is only concerned about volume and not actual quality, there's no mids or low end to any of these, they're too expensive for what they are. 10/10 would not buy.

People, all these speaker suck besides the Harman kardon goplay+. They all sound very plastic and cheap. If you want a good portable Bluetooth speaker you should just go for the harman kardon goplay, Marshall kilburn or klipsch "the one"

Hey no problem, when it's good it has to be said! I quite like the Dockin D too seems to match my taste. As a wise man once told me : Silent Majority has to stop being silent and speak up! [JayzTwoCents i'm talking to you ;)] Well i always do that these days if the video is great i say it give it a like and most likely share it on Facebook. If it is less of a great video i still like it but give a little hint or tip as a comment but also note the good factors.
