I’ll set the budget at 5k and present my option: 2005-10 Volvo S40/V50 Rdesign. AWD Turbo 2.5l engine, heated interior and water fall stereo makes this things look, drive and feel like a $20k dollar car.

2013 Mini Cooper GP. Literally a race car for the road. Super low mileage ones go for around 35k but if you want to get a little bit of a higher mileage example you can tune the snot out of it.

Mazda 3 hatchback, with $10k+ for gas. Ive got like 136k HARD miles on my 2016 4cyl/auto. And it hasnt had any issues outside of user error... Below sea level to over 10k feet in the same drive, 120F or -4, 50mpg @ 80mph. Did not expect it to be such a reliable vehicle.

I bought a grey 2013 C63 sedan with suede seat centers with 42k miles in great condition for $34k. Love it as a street car. There is no better smog legal bang for the buck track car than a C6 Z06!!!!

Used hellcat would maybe be in that range but the miles of suffering that car has had is not worth it , maybe a m3 low mileage :)
