My shirt design has semi-transparent images and glowing effects. What method does best with those features?
@NekoPrintsАй бұрын
You can use something like DTF or White toner, but you would need to halftone it. But if you want the true print with the semi-transparent parts, then DTG would be your best bet. Be sure you research it very well before getting into it. It's a big investment that can require a lot of maintenance.

So, why are some DTF transfer companies providing transfers that work on dark fabrics (cotton and poly) but buying your own transfers don't work? Is something going on in the details of their paper (curing, printer settings, pressure/temp settings), and is this not available to figure out for home use? Thanks!
@NekoPrints4 ай бұрын
I'm guessing you're using sublimation based on your previous comments. Sublimation doesn't print the color white. DTF printers do. You can get a home DTF printer, but it's nothing like having a sublimation printer. Anything big companies can do in terms of transfers, you can do as well. Some processes are a bit more complicated, but ultimately it's all able to be done at home. But you need to fully understand the limitations and what each printing method consists of. It's a lot at first. But little by little :)

I love your video's and thanks for all the information you have given me, I have a question which white toner printer do you think is best.

@@GREENEYEVINAV definitely the Uninet iColor printers! They're the only ones that exclusively feature over AND underprint in one pass. Plus, you can use my code NEKOPRINTS5OFF for 5% off 😊

Awesome information, I have the white toner printer and I thought that you can only print cotton shirts not other fabrics
@NekoPrints4 ай бұрын
@@warceblas it could depend on the kind of paper you use, but I've pressed on poly shirts before

I just want to make shirts for church events. What would you recommend?
@NekoPrints2 ай бұрын
@@shakam.5658 It really depends on what type of shirt you want to make and your budget. If you do single color shirts, you can start with Heat Transfer Vinyl and order DTF prints when you need. The white toner printer works well and has a lot of uses, but if you're going to primarily print shirts. I suggest starting with HTV. This is the cutter I'd recommend shrsl.com/4ptaw

Hi.. What method of printing produces RokFit shirts?

I really wouldn't know. Maybe screen print or screen print transfers

DTF, DTG, and HTV.

@@NekoPrints do you have any recommendations for purchasing affordable but quality DTF/DTG sheets or sellers?
@XjaromirXАй бұрын
Curious, what do they use in stores?.... Like when you go to hot topic to buy your favorite Marvel superhero shirt?... Is it DTF or is it Screen Printing?
@NekoPrintsАй бұрын
It's a mix of everything. Screen printing, screen print transfers, dtf transfers, and sublimation. There's other methods too that some people don't use normally like cut and sew. But for the most part, you can get same or even better quality prints using transfers
@XjaromirXАй бұрын
@@NekoPrints so if I wanted to make a print on a sports sweater (cotton) that is from a comic book cover and I'm trying to replicate that look/feel from "Marvel" merchandise.... What would be my best options between 1.Screen PRINT, 2. Waterbase transfer OR 3. DTG? The last thing I want to make is something that feels like it's a knock off from a Flee Market that sort of deteriorates after a wash or two. Thanks.
@NekoPrintsАй бұрын
@XjaromirX not sure what you mean by water based unless you're talking about water based screen print ink. But you can't go wrong with any of those choices. They will all last and feel great. Just be careful selling anything copyright. I've had my store shut down because of that and know people who have been sued.
@XjaromirXАй бұрын
@@NekoPrints thanks a bunch! And not me selling anything. It's literally for my own use. Found someone that is making me a shirt and I was given options on how to make, nothing copy righted (just a FYI), something I did up myself.
