I personally think that the sv-98 is the best sniper. Sure, it doesn’t do as much damage as the awm and is really rare (golden crate/supply drops are the only way to get it in a normal game I think) unlike the mosin but other than that it has everything that you would want or need from a sniper. It’s basically just a straight upgrade from a mosin. Not saying the mosin’s bad, it’s really good. 1. Insane bullet speed and size 2. Damage 3. Ammo is common 4. Bigger mag 5. Applies a lot of pressure Another reason why I don’t think awm is the best is actually because I would rate it lower than a mosin for a lot of reasons. 1. Very recognizable 2. Slow fire rate 3. Bullets are very slow 4. It’s very situational 5. Ammo being scarce The awm is like an open world character with no armor but with the strongest war axe in the game capable of one-shotting almost every enemy. You don’t have anything else but pure pure damage. Also not saying the awm is bad it’s hella fun to play with but I would drop it for another sniper in a lot of cases. … Goddamit I wrote an essay I keep doing that.

I mean, awm one shots almost anyone but I guess at least they know what their opponent has. Plus half of the lobby is gonna start targeting them. Model 94 isn't a real sniper rifle per say, it doesn't really do enough damage to compete. Scout Elite does much less damage than the mosin but it still is underpowered, I personally rarely will take one as having a semi-auto or auto rifle is overall more handy. Mosin Nagant is personally my favorite because: 1: Its common 2: It has single reload when not fully emptied 3: It has similar damage to Sv-98 (72 mosin vs 80 sv) Sv-98 comes at my second favorite because it has more ammo in one reload and does more damage. But its less common so I don't use it often. AWM I have conflicting feelings about, I love the damage, but it spreads an awful lot for a sniper rifle and bullet velocity is so low it is pretty ineffective at long range. Not to mention it has only 3/5 the range of the mosin in general and the ammo is hard to find so once you are out of ammo you aren't going to get much more if any. Anyways that's all.

I think Mosin is the strongest sniper because 1: it's very common to find from airdrops or the tree thing. 2: it has a very short reload time from the SV but SV have a longer reload time.

My opinion 1°:sv-98 2°:AWN-s 3°:model 94 4°:mosin 5°:BRL 6°:scout elite (Model 94 is really good for quick swap, model 94 deals an reasonable damage and has a very low cooldown to shoot again, thats why in my opinion 3° place for model 94) (AWN ammo is very rare, it doesn't always one-shot, it just got in 2° because of damage and black shoots is pretty hard too see depending of the Battlefield, makes it hard to dodge)

Also the three has downrights, AWM has good dmg but slow travel speed. the others' bullets are fast but kind of weak compared to AWM, if you get either double sv or MN, you are good to go.

Quick switch helps u move at the normal speed, normally after u shoot a sniper bullet it moderately decrease ur speed so its a useful technique to learn

Just for the sake of writing a subjective essay, I will write a subjective essay analyzing which sniper is the best. I will also take information from the wiki. Model 94: This is a solid beginner weapon, having 8 shots. Like the Mosin-Nagant, you can use one in the chamber here because it reloads one at a time. However, unlike the Mosin, the damage sucks for a sniper. While it might seem like a super op gun when you hit your shots, it actually only does 44 damage per shot without armor, and this means that it is worse than some DMRs. It is good for the beginning of a match where everyone has either no or level 1 armor, but after that it just sucks. Not to mention that quickswitching with this gun actually slows the fire rate, instead of speeding it up. BLR 81: While the design resembles a lever action rifle, it probably couldn't be more different than the Model 94. For one, it uses 7.62 mm bullets instead of .45 ACP. For another, it reloads all of it's shots at once, instead of one at a time. It deals 56 damage to unarmored players, but this is where it gets really bad. Since it has a small magazine of 3 bullets, it can only kill one player per magazine. Because of this, firepower is very much recommended. However, one in the chamber also works. Due to the small magazine, 2 of the 3 shots will receive bonus damage in a very short time. However, since it can only kill one player per magazine, missing a single shot means that you die. Scout Elite: This sniper rifle has less than average damage, yet more fire rate and less recoil. That makes this sniper rifle better for noobs, because it is not as punishing if you don't know how to quickswitch. Plus, it uses 5.56 mm ammo, which is relatively common. It is very accurate while standing still and moving alike. Mobile players might be attracted to it because of the low recoil and nothing on the need to quickswitch. However, some players may desire it, which would make you a target. It is also rather rare, and it has lower damage than most sniper rifles. It actually deals the same amount of damage as a BLR 81, which makes the Scout Elite a direct upgrade to the BLR. Mosin-Nagant: Ah, the stereotype rifle. High damage, low fire rate, high recoil, and a 5 round magazine. This is probably how most of us see snipers, and that is true for this weapon. It deals extremely high damage. 72 bodyshot to unarmored players. There is a tree on the map that can drop the Mosin when broken. Quickswitching is a necessity as it has high recoil, a large slowdown, and it takes a lot of time to fire a second shot. However, you can pair this with one in a chamber to make a good strategy. After you fire a shot, just reload. Since it reloads one at a time, there will now be 5 rounds in the magazine again to make another bonus damage shot. SV-98: A direct upgrade to the Mosin, and better in every way. Better fire rate, better magazine size (10 rounds), better bullet speed, and better damage. In fact, it has one of the fastest bullets in the game. With 80 damage per shot, it is good already, but it's even better than that. At the docks, you can find a golden container which will have the SV-98 inside of it. However, this sniper will always come with a 4x scope, meaning you can usually outrange others. If the player you're shooting attempts to hide, you can just shoot the obstacle. The SV-98 does 1.5x damage to obstacles, meaning you can do 120 damage per shot to obstacles with very little ammo used. Although the SV-98 is better in every way, this does not negate recoil, so be sure to quickswitch when using it. Not only this though, pairing it will one in the chamber will make it even better. Since one in the chamber makes the first and last rounds in a gun (except shotguns) deal 25% more damage, the SV-98 can now instantly kill a player without any armor. One in the chamber also makes the bullet larger, meaning you're more likely to hit the target with shot that was already huge to begin with. AWM-S: This one, i'm not too sure. It has the highest damage in the game, 180 to an unarmored player, and paired with one in the chamber, can one shot a player in full level 3 gear. However, while it is suppressed, unlike other suppressed weapons, it does not have a fading tracer and instead has a very visible black tracer. (Ironic, as this is the first weapon to be suppressed.) It also has a very slow bullet speed, making it very easy to dodge. It also needs extremely rare ammo. .308 Subsonic, to be exact. Because of this, you will probably always have to ditch one in the chamber for endless ammo.

Overall best sniper is the sv no arguments, I would use the scout or blr although they have low damage the are nicer to use . The myosin is a great pair with the scout but is the chunkiest and slowest so I’d only use it if I had a scar or a scout to pair it with. The app is great dealing 100 damage and has so much more potential with one in the chamber perk also makes you more careful with ammo, the model 98 is fun to use when stacked with itself and good for a challenge easy to find in the desert and Saharah modes aswel as having the most common ammunition

My list: 8 - Scout Elite, Is a powerful sniper, but too rare (on map is maximum and minimum is 1) 7 - Model 94, Is a weakest sniper, but the commonest, and actually it is most snipest sniper, and so satisfying. 6 - BLR-81, Is like Scout Elite, but commoner, and snipe with this sniper is too good. Minus: 3 ammo 5 - Mosin-Nagant, Is rare than all from 8 to 6 place, But too powerful. Minuses: 5 ammo, the slow reload after shot. 4 - SV-98, Is extremely rare, But too powerful. It has 10 ammo, and faster reload after shot than on Mosin. Minus: Too loud, Needs an a scope like 4x+ 3 - Rainbow Blaster, Is extremely powerful (Like 1000+ damage). But the insane minuses, is that this sniper/blaster has only 1 ammo, and you can't reload it, or make it more ammos. 2 - AWM-S, Is impossibly powerful and rare (Like 180 damage). It's good to snipe with it when it's like 2 AWM-S'S. Big minuses: It has 5 ammos, and slow reload after shot. And actually has close to the rarest ammos in the game, and the ammos is invisible, you can confuse it with .50 AE ammo and in red zone with 5.56mm. 1 - DLQ-33 Lotus Flames, Is extremely powerful (500 damage), and has no minuses (Maybe), Ok minuses: Rare to death, in FIRE IN THE HOLE crates, and if you wanna give the 2nd DLQ (Impossible bro), and if he hasn't got Mythic ammos, you need spam this ammos (Because Mythic ammos is throwing by one) I has 500 this ammos, and i writed something) ---Bonuses---- 4 - SVD-63, no comments 3 - Mk20SSR, It's so powerful, but reload sound is 1 to 1 with SCAR-H.
