it doesn't matter what pH the water is, your stomach is acidic so it'll just make whatever you ate/drank the same pH as your stomach acids (ph of 1.5 to 3.5). your blood pH level is even more controlled, from 7.35 to 7.45. anything outside that tiny range is lethal to the human body. Guys. The PH that you drink does not matter. Guess what. If you drink water with a pH of 10 or 3 it's going to fall inside your stomach. Inside your stomach is stomach acid which has a pH of 2. And you think that something with the pH of 10 stays at 10? No it becomes a 2. And if you think that eating acidic stuff is dangerous. Well it isn't. Weak acids such as lemon juice are safe to consume. But stronger acids like hydrochloric acid is very corrosive and dangerous. The the liquid that once had a pH of 10 gets absorbed and goes into you blood which has a very tight pH level. 7.35 to 7.45. if it isn't in that range, you die. So you pH test is complete BS.

Omg smh rn it doesn't even matter what the pH of water is. This is because the stomach always sits around 3 pH, so when your so called "alkaline healthy water" enters your stomach, the water will get mixed in with the 3 pH slush, and no effect will be taken on the stomach. If your stomach was effected by the alkaline water, then you would most likely die due to alkalosis. Alkalosis is a condition where too much alkali enters the blood stream. The reason you could be affected by alkalosis is because blood pH has an extremely tight range of 7.35-7.45, and if the blood pH rises above it, alkalosis can occur. Also, don't even get me started on ionized water and moon water. That is literally bs that doesn't do anything to you. Im sorry this had to be explained to you by a 13 year old.

Okay, so, none of what you said is "incorrect" per se, as well as it is true that things like "alkaline water," "ionized water" and so forth are either based in pseudoscience, or have little research to back up their benefits, but that is not to say the pH of water doesn't matter at all. The main reason it matters is because more acidic water can pick up contaminants such as lead or zinc in piping, and more alkaline water is indicative of high mineral content, which, as with anything, should be consumed in moderation. For this reason, it is best water be close to neutral. But yes, the video is incorrect.
