This is a great video which gave me a lot of inspiration, thanks! How did you manage to use full width on the home page of your demo environment? My communication site won't allow me to put news and links into a full width section and with ever increasing screen resolutions there's more unused, empty space. Thanks in advance!

We actually didn't use full width webparts in this video. We just zoomed in. That said when you add a new section to a page, there is a type called "Full-width Section" - once created you can a limited number of webparts (image, hero, banner, countdown timers). It's so limited we rarely use it! (Although if needed, we could code our own).
