yeah but it takes it away from us. why would we care about a death at all in a fictional narrative if it isn't at all analogous to real world death which is actually final. suddenly no death really matters in the narrative and we lose any and all connection to the story with regards to relating to loss. But to be completely fair this isn't even remotely new in the magic lore so it really doesn't matter when we talk about Elspeth not sure why they focused on her so much when there was wayyyyy more bullshit asspulls beforehand

Bolas) *Kaito* is a Kamigawa ninja-for-hire and a childhood friend of the Wandering Emperor. He has witness of her kidnapping and the kidnapper's identity. The kidnapper is actually Tezzeret. *Tyvar Kell* is the prince of the elf trive in Kaldheim and has witness the one who will start and has help Kaya into stopping the end-of-the-world event in his home world. The one who started it is Tibalt who this guy will explain later. *Niko Aris* was born in Theros and has first planeswalked in Kaldheim only to land on a group of angels that were caught in the onslaught if the end-of-the-world event in Kaldheim 17:47 *Tevish Szat* is also a member of the 9 Titans who backstabbed some other members and then was backstabbed by Urza because he predicted this and uses his soul to make soulbombs but did not used them. 19:00 *Jeska* is a friend of Teferi who also faced Bolas only to be defeated and after Teferi has his head back from Bolas, she sacrificed her life to fixed the time rifts. However plot twist: she can revived herself and after the mending, that might be the third time she did that, sorta.

Lukka is hilarious to me because I've never seen in any other piece of media a single character being portrayed as two polar opposites in two different official sources. Book Lukka and Card Lukka might as well be different characters. I have my theories as to how this happened but it's still so weird this happened and it's even weirder that Strixhaven barely even addresses it at all.

I love lukka in the story, like if I had to make another custom set it would be a strixhaven follow up where he attempts to make sure that the school dosent leave others behind and so they focus on the ally pairs and have lots of token mages and stuff

Urza stuck the Meekstone and Mightstone (they each one half of a fully functional powerstone) Into his OWN eyes not Karn's. Gerrard put the two stones rejoined into Karn's chest. From this he combined with the entire Legacy and gained Urza's/Glacian's spark that was stored in the Meek/Mightstone (It is not know if Urza had his own spark or if he just used Glacian's that was awakened by the Sylex). His sentience came from and was stored in the Phyrexian Heartstone that had belonged to Xantcha. I like the idea of Karn consisting of Xantcha's Heart and Urza's Mind. Karn is essentially the only purely good thing Urza ever created. Xantcha is probably the best character in the MTG lore ever and Urza and Xantcha through Karn finally defeat the Phyrexians and yet through Urza's gifts and flaws passed onto Karn New Phyrexia is born. Karn is like the entire history of Magic lore combined into one being.

@@FishMTG it really sounds like forever ago... One question, why are there so many planeswalkers now? If there were this many in such a short timespan, the multiverse would be flooded with them. My theory is that pre-mending, more energy was stored in each spark and they were essentially gods, and more rare. Post-mending, the same amount of spark power was blasted apart and split into many smaller sparks (planeswalkers who existed during the time lost much of their large sparks, and those sparks were redistributed), which is why there are so many young post-mending walkers now.

Planeswalkers are incredibly rare, but there's still a bunch of them because of just how many total people there are in the multiverse. And the main reason we the audience know so many is because planeswalkers are the main characters of Magic story, so it's only natural for that story to focus disproportionately on them.

I got my planswalker spark when i left my oven on for too long and it burnt the golden goose i was cooking for my mother in law. yep, dipped outta there to the plane of babes. I was also present at the war of the spark but missed it due to being absolutely loaded on this stuff called "Halo" from a plane I like to call new new las vegas casino back stabby stab realm of demons that are kinda reasonable if you think about it. I think the Kenriths are more bland then racist. Even if the text shown was the worst that was said, it wasn't racist, it just generalizes experiences from their own point of view. Also, by the same logic, pointing out that the traits of a Mary Sue are blonde hair and blue eyes is racist. Its generalizing that anyone with those features is essentially a privileged person in a multiverse where race and species aren't an issue except for the bad guys. In retrospect, Kaya would a be more of a Mary Sue, since she always does the "right" thing in the end. She is flippant with gods and never seems to pick the wrong choice, even if she is on the side of the big bad. The Kenrith plot is just very uninvolved. They are like side characters in their own story.
