I'll explain a lil bit to those who don't know: the ''is there a lore reason'' posts and other similar templates started off as GENUINE, sane posts in the subreddit. That's how the sub acquired most of its shitposts at first, they took REAL genuine posts and copied their phrasing to make deranged posts. Every single genuine post posted to the subreddit will automatically be turned into a shitpost eventually.

Jokes aside, that explanation doesn't make much sense. The Half-Life subreddit, or any subreddit dedicated to a Valve game really, have gone WAY longer without any games and none of them are even close to being as deranged as Arkham fans. Clearly Arkham fans have some unique predisposition to mental decay. Are they stupid? There's probably a lore reason for it.

You're giving the Joker what he wants by calling him the main villain in every game. He isn't; Strange is City's main villain, but does most of his work in the background as a looming threat, and with enough digging you can see he's responsible for pretty much everything that happens. Scarecrow is very explicitly Knight's main villain, and Joker would not be as big a problem as he is if it weren't for him. Joker's the B-plot, but because he thrives off of attention he shoves himself into your face as often as he physically can. However, he's still nothing more than a very loud B-plot.
