Remember, Sonic fans got THIS after Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic '06. It was followed up by Sonic Unleashed and Sonic and The Black Knight. I really think it was this five game stretch of absolute trash that destroyed this franchise's reputation. The sad part is, the Sonic games on Gameboy/DS at this time we're carrying the franchise and have been lost to time. Sonic Battle, Sonic Advance 3, and Sonic Rush were all solid titles.

People form their own opinions but damn yours is ass. I agree with 06, Secret and Shadow being bad games but saying that unleashed and black knight are trash is quite a crazy take, when unleashed is a top 3 best game in the franchise. I understand people not liking the werehog, because is not for everyone and it is a sonic game at the end of the day, the point is going fast but still tho, personally I enjoyed the werehog stages. Arguably Unleashed has some of the best OST from the entire franchise accompanied by some of the best day stages in the franchise too. I will not accept people calling unleashed a bad or trash game.

@@QuieTLy1 Not gonna debate it. I played it when it came out, couldn't bring myself to finish it out of sheer boredom (the first time I've ever been unable to finish a Sonic game) and haven't spared it a thought since. Any critical analysis I may have to debate your points was forgotten a decade and a half ago. But it didn't exactly fare well with critics either, so I'm not out here spouting crazy talk.

@@DoctorLazers Then I feel bad for u for not being able to enjoy that game. Sonic unleashed has its flaws just like every other sonic game, but every single criticism that people bring to that game can be refuted just due to how amazing it is. Unleashed was hated when it first came out, but throughout the years, the community started to love it more and more. Try to go back and finish unleashed to see if the thought changes.

Unleashed is absolute fire and unless you don’t like the boost titles there’s a 90% chance it’s a skill issue instead of an actual problem with the game

​@@camire22I still find Unleashed HD to be quite flawed I still think this, after playing the game for at least 100 hours. Also, I would say that im pretty good at speedrunning the day levels. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it tho. I just think that it'd mediocre

I unironically think people who have problems with this game are straight up playing it wrong. Tho I'll admit the game isn't very good at explaining it. The Wiimote has to always be in front of the sensor bar. Always. When this game came out the Wiimote did not have gyro. And the only way for the console to tell what you were doing with it, was to look at the Wiimote constantly. The game is actually incredibly responsive this way. I mean I've 100% this game and barely had any issues controlling it. Sometimes it'd happen, but not nearly as much as others say it does

Knowing that, I probably would’ve enjoyed the game more. My Wiimote plus was making the game not work as intended and it really hurt the experience for me
