What’s the difference between a hemi and non-hemi mini bike or kart engine?

Hemi or non-hemi? What’s the difference? Which one is better? I get this question a lot. This short video explains it to some degree. Whether it’s Predator, Tillotson, Ducar, Wildcat or something else, this information applies.

I called the non-hemi combustion chamber a wedge shape. This particular example is actually more of a bathtub type of chamber shape.
