Not entirely correct with the lore. Holy Order Sol appears in one of Sol’s story branches when I-No sends him back to the past. You play as Sol and if you end the fight with an IK it kills past Sol. Then comes Sol’s most badass moment when he’s literally erased himself from time but then just wills himself back into existence because fuck I-No and her shenanigans.

Holy Order Sol is the greatest alternate version of the main character ever created. He's rushdown like Sol but his tools are so different. I was such a fanboy I even imported GGXX Slash and modded my PS2 just to play him. Order-Sol is one of the reasons my favorite GG is Accent Core.

One more thing, You forgot to mention that after every enhanced special you can keep your Meter, Press dust after each amplified special move to not only continue pressure but manage your meter, If done consistently you'll always have 1 or 2 bars at each time, Also some specials have certain utility usage at certain bars, EX. Gunblade at 2 bars can be used for massive block stun and strings, Prototype Bandit Revolver is better at 2 bars because it acts like Dragon Install bandit revolver and grants for follow ups, However for Scarlet Viper (DP) using it at 3 bars could lead to hard knock down situations which you can follow up with Gun Blaze (QBC P) Granted that you make sure to dust after 3 bar Scarlet Viper.

Lore time (because it's actually silly and dumb and awesome) HOS is Sol from the past yes, but he was brought to the current timeline by I-No so that HOS and Sol would fight to the death thinking the other is an imposter, ending up with current Sol dead regardless. But Sol isn't that stupid so they just stop fighting and I think beat up I-No after idk. Keep up these fun videos

Close, but not quite. It's actually cooler than that. Sol knew HOS was him, but he didn't have a choice in fighting him. I-No saw an opportunity while they were fighting and killed HOS. But Sol learned that he didn't give a shit about time travel and survived just because he wanted to.

Slash and AC were dream-match type games where story didn't matter for character selection, that's why AC had every single character that appeared in past games even if they had already died like Kliff who was brought back through a weird non-canon time-travel storyline. Xrd's cast was entirely canon, and I assume that Strive will be the same. There has been talk about crossovers and how they want them but only once the GG story is completed, which makes me think that getting a new dream-match GG might also not be too unlikely, but Strive will come first.
