Thanx for good info. I do want to point out that if you are putting Washi tape on an envelope that is going thru the postal service you need to use a glue stick on the back of it. Because Washi tape lifts off it can easily start lifting as it goes through the postal service sorting machines and cause a jam resulting in lost time & machine repairs.

Hi, I wonder if you can help please? I have several rolls of pet tape, they are sticky on the back of the roll/ sticker. I can’t get anything to peel off, I thought all pet washi had a part that peeled off after you stuck it down? I’m very confused 😂

Hello Joanne! Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel😊 I'm very happy to help. Most pet tapes have a clear backing that you peel off before you stick them down, just like a sticker. The only type of stickers (that I know of) that have a layer that peels off from the top are Rub On Transfer Stickers, for example the MU Lifestyle brand rub on stickers. They have a tissue paper on the back of the sheet and you take that off, rub on the top of the sticker onto paper, then remove the plastic sheet on top. They are more like a sticker "sandwich". Tissue on the bottom, sticker in the middle, plastic sheet on top. There are some clear pet tapes that don't have backing at all, they will come off the roll like any normal sticky tape (sellotape). Oh No Nancy! That is super frustrating! I think you might have a dodgy tape..I suggest going back to the store where you purchased it, either message or in person and let them know. These PETs are not cheap so you don't want to have to waste any more time. I really hope you can get to the bottom of it, they should be fun and not stressful!

@@afrikurl Hello afrikurl! Thanks so much for watching 😃 As the PET is made from plastics, I would suggest something like a waterproof marker. Maybe a PITT or sharpie type pen. As they’re great for fussy cutting, it would be easy to test on an offcut. ☺️Louise

I have several PET tapes...and NONE of them peel off easily. I don't think there's anything wrong with them. I just think they are REALLY hard to peel. I'm still looking for someone to solve this problem. Haven't found it yet.
