Nice comparison, but you miss one critical point and this is maintanance costs. DTG printing looks so cheap from your presentation, but you did not mentioned that maintanance cost of White Toner Printing are nothing compare to daily / monthly maintanance costs of DTG. In fact, if you do not have daily orders on DTG, you are just loosing money due to daily maintanance. Additionally DTG require pretreatment process for dark garment tshirts and this is extra money for pretreatment machine, if you want to do it professionaly.

What kind of comparison is that?! Real eagle vs like a drawing eagle? LOL!

:) - it shows off what the DTG G4 does best, and that's photorealism as well as what you can do with the DigitalHeat FX - DTG is GREAT, as long as you don't want to print on performancewear, and the DgiitalHeat FX is AWESOME, as long as you don't want that kind of photo and graphic detail

@@ColDesiColman If you really want to find out their differences you should print also a realism eagle in digital heat efx.

I would have liked to see the same image, printed on both.

What does it feel like? I have seen some of these that feel like vinyl on a shirt. Is this what they feel like? Or does it feel like screen printing

Here's a whole list of videos for you Darrin kzbin.infosearch?query=hard%20surface but there are several major differences: - you don't need to use special blanks - you can apply to DARK items

I had a white toner printer..i used Forever transfer papers. Horrible for tshirts in my opinion. Felt very papery on the shirt and made a paper sound when moving the image around on a shirt. Putting transfers on a thinner triblend is horrible and feels crappy. Spent a lot of money on it, there are some uses for it that are good...bags, flags ect. Not shirts or hoodies etc. Lots of waist and very costly waist with the teansfers...like forever. Waist your profits with bad transfers. Dtg is the best for tshirts and hoodies

DTG Printing is great for t-shirts! We love both methods and agree they have their own strengths and weaknesses. With White Toner Printing it is essential that you create negative space in your artwork for t-shirts. This makes for better washability and a much softer feel. Plus, you also can decorate mugs, signs, glass, ornaments and tons of hard surfaced goods with the DigitalHeat FX System. It's important yo evaluate your business goals and needs before choosing which system is best for you!
