Haven’t watched the video yet but assuming what you’re saying is true that’s the toxic garbage that needs to leave rocket league people trying to learn these mechanics before they even know how to play the game. They’re diamond 3 likely because they’re stupid can’t play defense if their life depended on it and can’t even obtain good positioning it’s really annoying I find grand champ 1 an easier and more enjoyable experience than D3 for that reason. That rank is full of “I have the mechanics to be good but I’m stupid so I’m in D3.” I hop on my secondary account occasionally to play with IRL friends in diamond is why I know

Out of all the ranks in rocket league, i feel that Champs makes the most mistakes. They mess up flips and kickoffs often, missing boosts, often mess up fast aerials and more.

The big thing for me is that all these new players who have only got into the game in the last 1-2 years instantly just try to practice mechanics without actually learning the fundimentals of the game. Where as players like myself who have played since day 1 learnt the basics first because everyone was in the same boat only until there was these insane players who started to discover different mechanics. I see it so much when ive played in a game in say Plat/Diamond that the players are great in the air but when it’s on the floor etc they simply just can’t compete because they think the best thing to do is to only train mechanics.

As a Plat 1 in every rank except for hoops and rumble. I would like to say that Kosta played just like everyone else in the rank. I believe that when you hit plat you will train more and harder when you play. Recently I have been learning air dribbles, wall reads, and uncomfortable saves. Do I believe that my performance may have been better... maybe. But I think Kosta did great considering the amount of pressure that he had.
