as someone who used to moderate for an internet drama subreddit, i resonated alot with this one. drama is so fun from a safe distance, but the instant you come into the peripheral of people who ACTUALLY care about internet drama, fun's over. i used to feel that same anxiety when a moderately sized youtuber would reach out to me, or when loser redditors would harass me after i ban them for saying slurs. leaving that space gave me time to realize that none of it really mattered, that i shouldn't get as invested as i was, and that i have MUCH better things to spend my time and mental energy on. found you through the kendrick stuff, been enjoying these podcasts alot! looking forward to more fart reverb 🎉

I’m conflicted about this video. While the message of YT drama being lame and doesn’t matter is 1000% true, I think there were definitely some themes and points that could be touched on. We could have shown some growth and evolution here especially when the topic really isn’t about two YTers/journalists, but an entire subculture with massive importance and influence. I mean, if you just wanna have fun and make jokes like you say you do, you coulda easily just made another video, spent maybe one minute of that video addressing why you won’t talk about it, and moved onto said fun shit and joking around that you say you want to engage in. Making a 16 minute video to tell us you don’t care almost feels like you do care. Sorry but that feels very Drakeish.
