I love those videos! And I have to admit, the "swing" one would be my favorite too - maybe because it has a clearly defined singular end state. The others are... well, "solved" at the end, but they look as if other solutions _might_ be possible (even if there are no others).

I do wonder how often people give up on a puzzle because the manufacturing is a little off, and makes it seem impossible to solve.

One of the question marks was flipped over like he mentioned at the beginning of that puzzle. I wonder if that was the actual solution. Seems odd to just have one piece turned around backwards like that 🤷♂️

On the "Any Questions" puzzle, one of the question marks for the solution is backwards. To me, that doesn't seem to be correct. But maybe it's just me.

There's a card that comes with the puzzle. If there's that condition, mr puzzle will not miss it. He'll mention it on the video. But we don't know, so it's still a 'SOLVED' for me.

The manufacturing of these was kind of disappointing. I guessed about 15-20 minutes for each of them, so I was 5 minutes off all the times I guess! The best one is the last one though, packing puzzles with holes in irritate me.

A lot of people don't know this, but it's not physically possible for a laser cutter to make cuts that have 90º edges. The focused laser beam is conical in shape, so, unlike a saw blade (which can be set to a true 90º), the laser will always leave a beveled edge on the piece being cut.

@Myrtle29114 жыл бұрын
I guessed 10 minutes, so I was way off on the first two, but close on the last one. The last one is definitely my favorite. The checkerboard pattern and curved lines are very visually appealing. It also looks finished when it's solved. In my mind, packing puzzles shouldn't have free space.

Dice are made from stabilized wood (I think). Due to densities they are almost certainly unbalanced.

The ako should be balanced. that's why some of the markings are longer and some are shorter, so that every face has the same amount of material removed by the "pips"

Theoretically, if you have good sense of dimensions and basic tools (and plywood) you can replicate at least the "Klein Kunst" by yourself. Or draw the parts with given dimensions and order them in a place where they offer laser cutting in plywood
