Once I walked in to work the morning after the building had been struck by lightning. The gate didn't work. The door keypad didn't work. The radios didn't work. The radar didn't work. "Is there anything that DOES work?" My supervisor demands. "Uh... Oh, and the printer was sparking." It was a looong day.

I have one. I was in Tulum back in march 2021. Me and my friend were out dining in a very popular tourist area. The restaurants there’s where mostly how I would describe as half open. Like the dining area was open to the street but not the kitchen. Well as we sitting someone started driving by opening fire into the crowds and restaurants. I was looking down at the menu and all the sudden tables started flipping, people ran and were hiding down before I even comprehend what was happening. I’m hard of hearing and I didint hear the shots above the music. I was standing in the middle of the open restaurant for a second before I also started to hide and asked a woman I hid with what was happening. Before this shooting I was on FaceTime with my husband only a couple minutes before. As I was hiding I called him back and told him there was a shooting and I didint know if they were gonna walk in and kill us. He stayed on the phone with me as I found my friend, we walked out and I saw someone who had been shot. He had been shot in the neck and was choking on his own blood, as we were rolling him over trying to help him from drowning he looked up at us and died. I was on autopilot dragging my friend out of there because she started to break down in the street and I didint know if we were still in danger. We survived that vacation and it’s not the first time Iv seen people die but I never told anyone how messed up I was after that. I also still see the guy who died looking up at me in my dreams but I never talk about it

So I was a single mom and my daughter was in her junior year of highschool. She had a friend over to spend that night. Abnormally they got back to our townhouse before midnight. She checked in and said they were home but going to sit outside. I fell asleep to be abruptly woke up by my daughter. She yelled Trey got stabbed. I jumped out of bed and headed downstairs. I ran outside. There Trey was laying on the ground. I told my daughter to call 911 and grab a blanket. He was obviously in shock. Pale, sweating profusely and nonverbal. I started talking to the 911 operator. She asked how bad it was. I had already checked his wounds. He had been stabbed in at least 2 places. I explained he was in shock and we had put a blanket on and put pressure on the bigger wound bc it was the only one bleeding. I explained that he only had one wound bleeding but I could see another not bleeding. There was a small dude standing down at the entrance of the driveway. He was obviously drunk could barely keeping himself from falling down. I asked another boy to keep an eye on him. So when I spoke to the dispatcher that answered my call she must not have understood that it was a serious situation but just not bleeding as much as I thought it would. So when the ambulance got there they ask the victim if he could walk to the ambulance. He didn't answer but stumbled towards the ambulance. I told them I thought he should not be walking even though he wasn't bleeding a lot I thought it was deep. He ended up with a torn intestine. Had more than half removed. He was hospitalized for what seemed like a long time. He almost died and then almost had to have a colostomy bag for the rest of his life. He was very athletic maybe that was what helped. I worked in the ER and when I saw the ambulance director I mentioned what happened at my house. I said I didn't think he should have been requested to walk to the ambulance especially after I found out how bad the damage was. He said I guarantee you that will never happen again. I felt like I did something wrong like not be as convincing enough that the situation was serious. I asked if I could have dealt with that differently. He said he heard the recording of my call and he thought because I was so calm and exactly what a person should be like the dispatcher related the info with out enough urgency. He said most people are hysterical. I said I thought when I said my name they would know it was me bc I also worked animal control and saw the dispatchers every time I worked. I still felt like I did something wrong. The perp was trying to get into a neighbors house to hurt her bc she moved on and began another chapter in her life. We saw him come back around the corner and told the police officer that was still there that was him. He called for backup and off he went. When it came time to sentence him he only got 4 years. I know sometimes ppl who murder get 6yrs. So I thought that was the best we could hope for. Well that moron saw the victim in the hallway as everyone was leaving and yelled I should have killed you. Everyone on the victims side went back in and complained to the judge so the judge gave him 2 more years. One of the scary stories I have been involved in. There are many more.

I should clarify my daughter had a girlfriend spending the night and two boys came to visit.

Story ten the Rottweiler that ate her baby most likely it was sick or had some kind of illness it would not get better from and ate it and eat it because they still have tendencies like wolves and and rotting puppy withdraw other predators to her and the babies that were living. It may be a disgusting thing however it is a survival technique. I had a friend whose cat had kittens and asked me to come over and help her because the cat kept moving the one of the kittens to a different room by the time I got there we could not find any kittens. I explained that because she was under a year it was probably her first litter and either she didn't understand what to do or she was instinctive enough to know that she had to get rid of them or it could attract predators. My friend just about flipped her lid that night she kept looking for days because she could not believe that a mother cat would eat her babies

A local case we have is one of our school friends over dosing while home with her mom. After investigation it was shown that the mom gave the daughter the drugs. Mom went to jail an a month or two after passed away from poor health. She gave her daughter fentanyl and thought this is totally the right thing to do. It was very tragic for the area. The girl was only 14
