Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump pledged to give automatic Green Cards to foreign students who graduate from US colleges. In a podcast, Trump said that the move was needed to prevent bright students from returning to their home countries like India and China, where they become multibillionaires. If Donald Trump acts on this, it may lead to a massive brain drain from India, warns Arnab, adding that the Indian government should act to stop losing our best talents.

Not just best, greater schools, I heard his words. He told that any education from any univ. Diploma, Graduation, post graduation, Ph.D etc. This would get more students to fall classes and revenue generation. They have to debate soon on immg topic. The other party announces citz to undocumented spouses of citz, kids who grew up in Us without any doc etc. Othe rpart must also tell their points on this topic. So, they are planning it. Also, that party would get more votes if these studnets are given citz in the future.

USA now has declining phantom carrying capacity. There r no jobs here. Jobs will be rate limiting, not GC. If GC r given only for top oby League university Indian grads,they have to shell lot of monies. If any university gorin grad gets GC, millions can land in usa

As someone on H1B I hope this rule is applied only if you pass from top universities, else entire Andhra, Telangana will be in US. which none of us want. Hopefully he brings a law to kick all students coming here illegally, going to fake universities to throw them out, and ban H1B for folks who haven't done MS in US from top 50 universities, that should solve all the problem for the real talent. India gets to keep the some what mediocre talent and US gets to keep its promise of good talent. Win win for both the countries.
