English: The archaeological exhibition showcased ancient artefacts used by early hunter-gatherers, highlighting their interconnected and contained way of life. As visitors moved up the ladder of the exhibition, they were greeted by life-size replicas and learned about the significance and legacy of these benighted communities, who left behind a rich cultural heritage despite oppressive circumstances.

Funny that they assume their presumption of European culture being more advanced back then as a fact, and making arguments on that point. The fact is, these colonisers were the least sophisticated and they went on pursuing wealth from very advanced civilisations, who already had almost everything which these countries terribly lacked. This include art, music, literature, medicine, architecture, deep spiritual wisdom, and on and on. They build upon the wealth of these nations, of course through all dirty means and became advanced in industrialisation only. Only in the new era of material and industrial culture, they became advanced. They were not, and still are not, advanced or sophisticated in any other way compared to any other nation they exploited.

Such a fantastic video that dumbed down colonial violence to "interconnectivity", "connection", and "complex situation" where local leaders can be questioned as so to the colonial forces. Nothing is complicated in how this "educational English" also programs the same white supremacist thoughts of how to politely discuss the oppressions in the past and how museums hold the stolen objects as trophies to remind the world who is better. The "other" sovereignty may be able to preserve its culture if they have not been robbed continuously throughout the centuries. Thank you for the kind reminder.

@@2f_hz492 In most cases, formal diplomatic requirement between countries is enoguh to take them back home (it'd be case of Japan). Concerning to China and India they are just unreliable - the first is an authoritarian regime, the second a careless/negligent government respectively. I'm not being snob or anything, I'm from a third world country and just speak about my own perspective.
