Yes the church should help and take them through. They need it. Not condemnation. Of course they started on a wrong footing, but it can be corrected by talking to them.

Yes, I think all couples should go through premarital counseling even those cohabitating. I also think it would be beneficial for married couples to seek marital counseling at least every 5 years or so. Most of us go to the doctor regularly to make sure everything is functioning as it should…married couple should also seek counseling check ups to avoid silent suffering. Meaning their partner has or is changing (emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally) but no one speaks about the elephant in the room until it has torn a hole in the roof.

I think so, too. I might save a lot of marriages that break after the 7th year. Time exposes things..... Stay intentional
