I think the fact that he decided to go full time clown is why he blew up so fast. It removes any judgement the audience might have on a person's looks and allows them to concentrate on the wonderful singing and the emotions that go with these songs. I was really happy to see him without makeup in this clip though it doesn't change how I feel about him. I LOVE HIS WORK!

I had the privilege of seeing him live earlier this month in 2019 in Chicago. Honestly, I'm old enough that I saw The Beatles, The Byrds, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and many others, but THIS was one of the absolute best live acts I've ever seen. You just have this feeling that you are seeing and hearing something so unique and emotionally compelling that you are never going to see anything quite like it again (unless you see HIM again), and your heart says "Oh, I'm SO glad I was here.". I saw him at a nightclub venue that had an audience of maybe 800 people or so. Before he got on stage, Puddles entered from the back of the auditorium and did his best to go up and down every aisle and give a handshake, a hug, a high-five, or a head pat to pretty much every audience member. I mean, really, who does that? And that voice! Good Lord! I was involuntarily shedding tears through several songs.

I'm fast becoming a fan of Puddles; he fills a very real, necessary, and timeless niche in the entertainment world. But anyway, what prompted me to comment was you said you've seen the Beatles and Tom Jones, and God-all knows who all else, and you say, "but THIS was one of the absolute best live acts I've ever seen." That got my attention; that's saying a lot.

From the first time I saw Puddle's audition on AGT I was a fan. This is more than a clown, this is a conveyor of pure human emotion, a man with a talent that very few possess. His voice and his spirit cut straight to the bone and he is able to make you laugh and cry at the same time. You go Puddles, I'll be a fan forever. Oh, and thanks.

You are absolutly correct. Thanks to the guy who performs him. This to me is shear genius. Mute until he sings. Excellent.

There's thousands of clowns ... and then there is Puddles. He's a genius. His talent is unbelievable. The way he conveys emotion, it's like he is staring into our heart and soul and directly beaming his performance into us. Usually I can listen to music in the background, do something else, with Puddles it's 100% focus on him, he is fascinating and I can't get enough of him.

How can you not love this guy? There is just something about him that seems so relatable even though I can't put my finger on what it is.
@DanInBranson7 жыл бұрын
I can see that. I just like the way you can tell precisely what he is saying and yet he never says a word. That is an art. I'm a WWE fan and a few years back HHH challenged Undertaker to a match at WM. They both came out to the ring, never said a word, their interaction lasted about 3 minutes or so minutes and yet you knew everything they were saying to each other. It was pretty cool.

I've seen 4 of his live shows and one virtual. I can say that his shows are some of the best, funniest and just plain enjoyable there are. He always starts off coming in from the back and walks through the audience. At one show there was a 13-14 year old kid dressed up in a Puddles costume. Puddles went out of his way to greet him and do something special for him.

@HisDearMissK Жыл бұрын
@ricardomoralesmassin I don't disagree with you, but I'd like to recommend that you watch this young man from Kazakhstan named Dimash Qudiabergen. He is the whole package! I would have you start at the beginning with his performance of S.O.S. on the first episode in 2017 (at the age of 23) on the Chinese TV show called The Singer. Which is a competition show, but of established, professional and popular Asian singers. Because Dimash sings in Kazahk, Chinese, French, Italian, English, Japanese... 15 languages in all, it's a good idea to search for a video that has English subtitles (or whatever a person's native language might be) I'll put a link to his 5th song of the competition "Adagio" for it shows him playing piano (he plays 7 instruments) it shows his fashion sense, you'll hear his 6+ octave range, his captivating stage presence, his 100+ % passion for and his all consuming devotion to the performance. (which he always displays 100%) All this live, in shows and sold out concerts around the world while also working on his Doctorate in music, film directing, acting, modeling, charity work.... hope you enjoy kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2WUfJSclpZnqNE

john woodworth, I know this is a late response but 👍I agree. I just discovered Puddles on 6/2/21 and since then I’ve seen a few YT channels that show him without his makeup, costume, and some personal things were revealed about him(like his real name). It seems like the media likes to dig up negative or personal things about performers like Puddles, it really does take the fun out of the secrecy.

America's Got Talent is not about who's the most talented. It's simply about who can be marketed best and make the most money for Simon and other people like him. That's why most of the runner ups on shows like American Idol are the only ones you hear stuff from now. You rarely see material from the winners post-Idol because they were chosen to be marketed and made a few bucks before they faded.
@keilet85825 жыл бұрын
