most of these games are comunity based so they increase in difficulty as their playerbase gets better at the game, take osu! for example, its mostly run by the comunity in terms of creating maps skins etc. so when people started to get really good, the maps got really difficult. if you showed someone from 2013 the top play from today, they'll think its impossible.

Blue Shirts Piano tiles is a harder game depending on how you look at it. All you have to do at this level of play is vibro at fourth notes of the bpm. In piano tiles the patterns are random and require precise presses with increase variable scroll speeds. Sure this game is more impressive if you dont play both, but piano tiles at a high level is definitely more impressive to the informed.

Actually, for a lot of it it isn't moving, The game is extremely lenient in terms of what counts as a hit. most of the notes you see you simply just need to have a finger down on a section multiple fingers down on sections that don't currently have a note won't even count as a miss...
