What's wrong with this Illinois Bunn Special pocket watch? Fault-finding in a mechanical watch

Here I show, step-by-step, how I find faults while disassembling a watch movement. The subject of the video is a beautiful Illinois railroad-grade pocket watch. In particular I focus on the interaction between the pallet fork and balance wheel, and look for potential faults in the geartrain.

I have inherited a Illinois Bunn Special that has 23 Jewels, it was a retirement gift for my great great Uncle…. It is a beautiful pocket watch

I have two Bunn specials one is a 16 another is a 18 and one other is a 18 key wind key key set . Sagamo special what does it mean . The train line ? Guess I have to find out. It is a real pain installing a impulse jewel back on the roller table.

I think the Sangamo Special is another high-end grade. With pocket watches you have to distinguish between models and grades. The models generally relate to the size, e.g. in 18 size Waltham has models 1857, 1870, 1877, 1883, 1892. But each model came in many grades, generally distinguished by jewel counts, number of adjustments, etc. I am not sure what distinguishes the Sangamo from the Bunn. A little digging on pocketwatchdatabase.com would probably clarify.
